I think a lot of the items were what the chat wanted to buy irl but didn't have the cash to, so i felt like this was like a shopping experience for them through ant, i definitely felt that way

yes! especially those whose in a country which has a lower currency (me). and some of the cosplays are like 500-600 yuan and some ppl might think that its not that good of a cosplay bc its like 50 ish dollars, but in yuan, you can get quite a lot of good cosplays out of the money. watching him buy those things definitely feels exciting tho gonna say 😂😂

i think some items had a “deposit” and an actual payment price at the end, so that could be it 🤔 it could’ve also been an error with google chrome translation too, but whatever the price was in USD was what i ended up paying

Fyi btw, the prices are in Chinese yuan and not Japanese yen! They share the same currency symbol so that can cause confusion - 229 yuan is indeed 30 usd
