Just passed my knowledge, air brakes and combination to obtain my cdl permit 2 hours ago, I’m ready to start school and get into the food service with GFS or mclane! To get my experience, So excited I love physical work and everything coming from warehouse work experience. I’m a gym rat btw, and its all about having the right mindset and motivation to succeed and become an owner operater, investments, etc. Been watching your videos for a week now and man! I’m so excited, idk what led me to your videos, it just popped up on my news feed after watching other videos from flatbed, refeer, dry van, tankers, etc. undecided on what I want to do, it’s amazing, I think this is a good sign man! Man that’s good getting off early. But maybe ever location different or Or company. I’ve been working late days all day up and down that ramp not complaining keeping me in shape and money is good. But man you made a vid other day about 28 ft trailer with 800 to 1000 cases well my Monday’s and Tuesday’s just been that as a new food service driver so those new guys don’t think you can’t do that on your 3 months in or 4. For the oils, You ever thought of going 3 per layers? 2 on the hand truck and one in the middle of them with the flaps bent and folded back to the 2 on the hand truck and add more into it? I usually run like 6 oils with maybe 5-6 soda bibs on top of it.

I’m a local delivery recycling driver all touch freight. I work 55-60 hours a week I want to apply at Gordon’s I just know if I’m in shape enough to do that work . I’m thinking about applying at the terminal in Lithia Springs

Is it as easy as it looks? Man there’s a job open 8am-6pm, 30 min drive to work no weekends and pay 180/day for training. Huge company paying 27.50/hr. Local work 53inch trailer. They offer benefits, any kind of advice you can give me or anything to look out for? 50 hr weeks.

I’m thinking about doing food service any recommendations on which companies pays the best plus best equipment and home time
