The chat freaking out when he said that the glue was getting warm was my fav part of the stream. Half the chat was concerned with chemical burns and other half was debating if he glued his asscheeks together

I still cannot believe not a single black knife went anywhere near him during that puzzle while he was cluelessly walking around, and we all got backstabbed while actively trying to avoid them.
@@zyhnz That was literally the first thing that happened to me. Headed to central square, went back to the start because archers sniped through the fucking WALLS and then I'm backstabbed out of the blue. I ended up buying a sentry torch, two handing eleonora's poleblade and just spamming the weapon art because it was the only thing that attacked fast enough so these fuckers couldn't run away.
His build is just shit, i run ice spear ash on twinblade and poleblade, beat o neill 1st try and got hit by him one time, lud died 3 times to him, miquella after 15....
@@GAn1ms you use the rivers of blood for corpse piler, I use it in my offhand for the base damage and base bleed to powerstance with the Uchi, we are not the same
RoB is boo boo for the final boss but besides that it’s decent. Sorcerer smokes every boss I think tho and it’s the goto for speedruns so it’s probably the very easy mode.
A kid in my high-school art class glued himself to a chair . The glue soaked through his pants and glued his skin to his pants and the chair. He had to have the fire department cut most the chair off then go to surgery and was suspended te rest of the year

When I was in the army guys used to drip super glue on your leg through your pants when you weren’t looking. It was funny but yeah I was worried about all that on his ass 😅
@@ashapanjo that's not how it works in the military. It's mainly about trying to seem like an adult to you DI's while theyre screaming at you, and when they aren't around you try to not get bamboozled by your fellow recruits

The montage of him putting the glue on the chair and then standing up yelling "I glued a chair to my ass!" with the music was the greatest thing I'll probably see all day lmao. Btw, If Hulu doesn't give Ludwig a bag to do a commercial where he says "This is live streaming!!!" with a chair glued to is butt, that marketing team needs to be demoted immediately.
@Canadian Gopnik tbh armor dosnt matter in the game if it dosnt have a specific buff to it, its more there for fashion than anything else, and malenia is hard af if you not called let me solo her
@@tbgjellan she's not all that hard once you've put in the practice since all her attacks are well telegraphed, and armor does make a difference, a small difference, but a difference nonetheless

Mimic and Rivers of Blood is literally cheesing a boss though XD. Might as well just glitch her out so she doesn't attack u. These games ARE supposed to be about learning the patterns and not let panic take over, also with learning the timings of your weapons and the boss weapons. And by the end of this he was still spamming and panic rolling so he didn't learn all that much.
The thing you guys have to understand is that he didn't really care about the challenge, he didn't do it because he loved the game and wanted to learn the mechanics better or feel proud of his accomplishment. He did it for _content._ He didn't give a hoot about integrity, he just wanted clicks. And you guys clicked the video and watched it anyway so I think his plan worked. If you want to watch someone seriously challenge themselves to beat Malenia legit then you can go watch someone else.
for Malenia specifically, it IS absolutely one of the worst, low attack, high defense, plenty of health for her to sap, AND THERE'S FIVE OF THEM, if she catches all 5 in a waterfowl dance, she could probably heal 60% of her max health, maybe more
Melania was such a painful boss, but your mimic tear was waaaaay better than mine. I was full defense, which did not work for the life drain. Black Knife Tiche was a much better summon for me, but it still felt like a pure RNG win when I finally beat her.
@@dawson7867 True - I was a _lot_ more aggressive on this boss. When I won though, it was basically because she didn't do certain moves (e.g. Waterfowl dance). I got quite close on several occasions, and lost because she started spamming certain moves. That's why it felt like RNG to me.
@@ARankin So hyper aggression is what we call a "local maximum", i.e. something that seems optimal and is a bit of a trap for players trying to figure the fight out. It burns her quickly, but makes certain attacks impossible to dodge. Don't be hyper-aggressive. I left this reply elsewhere in the comments section, but: Don't treat this like a normal Dark Souls boss, treat her like an Elden Ring Boss. - Stay mid-range, not in her face. - Learn the dodge directions. Anything aside from Waterfowl can be dodged into her easily, but different attacks require you dodge in different directions. Always blindly dodging into the attack like in Dark Souls will get you killed. - Learn what her combo finishers are. - Counter-attack only once she's done her combo-finishers. - Counter-attack with only 1-2 hits, 3 if you're very very confident that you can keep her staggered. - Waterfowl requires you run away for the first two, dodge into the third. Or run from the first, dodge into the next 2 hits. Staying mid-range and not hyper-aggressive makes this easy.
Man declares he'll stream until he beats Elden Ring, he does exactly that, and chat complains he didn't do a side area that isn't part of beating the game.
killed boss in like less than 10 tries with mimic summon. it’s only difficult completely solo. that goes for all the bosses with summons you just let boss agro to the summon then hit then run away to let the mimic get agro again
Bosses become piñatas with a summon and that eats away all of the fun of learning and beating the boss but obliterating a boss with mimic and L2 spam is also fun so who cares when both ways you are still having fun. With mimic/L2 you are only missing out on the huge amount of adrenaline
Tips for commander niall, use the item that turns enemies against eachother. You can use it on the dude with two swords and he will kill the other enemy as well as do tons of damage to the boss. I've never died to him ever again using this method. And another tip for the godskin duo: Sleep pots.
I always do that too. It's a shame honestly, I think Niall's moveset is badass and that he'd be an awesome boss to fight on his own, but the adds kill the enjoyment of the fight for me. I do think it'd be cool if he summoned the knights as a counter to the player whenever the player summons Spirit Ashes, though. Then you'd be able to choose between a 1v1 or a battle of the gank squads

@@Echinderm I'm actually playing Bloodbrone because I really enjoyed Elden Ring (my first From Software game). Elden Ring is easily top 5 on my favorite games, next to God of War.
So this probably isn't very helpful now, but one good way to beat Malenia is to through a freezing pot at her every time she goes up in the air, like to do that circle slash attack everyone hates. It'll make her flinch and fall back down.
It's fine, it's whatever people find fun. The game has difficulty settings with different strats/abilities/builds, and if he enjoys it with Ashes then that's how he enjoys it.

Rivers of blood is absolutely insane by itself, but adding mimic tear is just an insane multiplier to the build, especially a build like this that has bleed and frost build up which the mimic tear helps with
Rivers of blood or no river of blood honestly beating melania in general is impressive in my opinion. Great job Ludwig! Glad to see you achieved what most feel like is impossible.
@@clementgoh9270 rivers AoW does on average like 4K damage b4 the bleed proc while also keeping her staggered anything else would hit for about 900-2000 per exchange so he was basically doing 2-4 times more damage than he realistically should have been doing to her, and without learning to dodge he would have been there much longer without it.
if you go back and watch the full clip of the run where he beats her im pretty sure he only successfully dodges an attack 2-3 times, he pretty much nailed it in the video where he talks about his strategy and then a little later literally says "are you seeing this gameplay, this is ridiculous, were not even playing" the man glued himself to a chair, so by all means use whatever measures youd like to beat her, but rivers of blood and mimic tear +10 definitely puts the fight on easy mode. youre basically just RNG hoping that either A. you kill her before she Waterfowl Dances or B. you proc bleed everytime shes in the animation
I felt pretty bad about how I beat her. I used Black Knife Tiche and used the Blasphemous Blade L2 because when she dodged to avoid it she usually just dodged into it and it knocks her on her ass.
Never feel bad it’s the worst boss design I’ve seen in fromsoftware game. I beat it with a bleed wild swings great sword+medium armor+mimic. It was literally RNG if I won or not and took like 25 tries
I just feel like she completely invalidates builds. If they had given her a bit more hp, but taken away the lifesteal or made it so it doesn’t happen through a shield it would have been good, but as someone who really wanted to explore the guard counters by going great sword and great shield because they were a new system in a souls game it completely invalidated my build which was great the rest of the time.
if he had a proper bleed build and put almost every point into arcane and equipped the right talismans then just spam corpse piler this would have taken probably 10 tries. also black knife tiche i think its called is an amazing summon for this fight would have made it like 5 tries

Mimic + rivers of blood is massive cheese. U can cope all u want but it is. U can spam L2 with your eyes close and still kill everyhting. Wow such amazing gameplay
@@Hero138abcd you clicked on a Ludwig video where he glued himself to a chair, what did you expect some high level gameplay. Plus it’s not the players fault for cheesing a boss it’s the developers fault for making her so easily cheese able stop being so salty on how someone play’s the game.
