Howdy ya'll. I hope you all had a great holiday and Christmas season. I had been looking at purchasing a Chinese sewing machine for some time and my beautiful wife along with my parents surprised me this year with one. I'm looking to add it to my arsenal of tools and have many plans for it in 2021. I hope this unboxing video answers some questions about the contents and packaging of the machine. Maybe it will sway you to give it a try. It is only around $100 after all ;)

Definitely you are going to give a good use. I followed your advice on the burnisher machine and bought one. For the Chinese patcher, adjustments, needles, and thread will be needed

I've been thinking about getting one of these, but after watching a bunch of RU-vid videos, I find it a little intimidating how much love it requires to actually get it working.

I bought one of these...was a pain in the neck to get it all dialed in (not sure if its even perfect yet) but, once I got it sewing pretty well, its been a work horse. I've been able to sew through 3 layers of leather with it. 2 pieces of 5-6 oz and a 3-4oz. Not to bad if you ask me. Sure beats saddle stitching.

Just got one of these machines works good! Just have to do a little work on them to get it perfect. Just be careful with the little ball bearings when you put the hand crank on they are cheap! I broke one when it got jammed and took me 4 days and hours to figure out what was wrong with it because it didn’t want to pick up bobbin thread. Took it to a shop got a new ball bearing on it and runs prefect. Defiantly a good investment if you do a little work and get get it running smooth!

Looks good. Where did you get yours from. It looks in better shape than most. The silver parts seem to be polished.

It was an amazon purchase i recieved as a gift. Yes it seemed to be in much better shape however after hours of tinkering i only ever got it to stitch once. Ended up selling it to another guy.

I wish you all the luck in the world getting it to work properly. I'm pretty certain these only work for Chinese speaking people and if you don't talk to it nicely in Chinese then it won't cooperate !!

I got one and use it a lot you have to lean about them inside and out but it will sew great and it will go through thick leather I use a 22 meddle and 138 bonded nylon thread

Hey brother, I have one of these and use it for ALL of my leather. There is a LOT of adjustment needed. I use 138 thread but you absolutely have to get things adjusted right and do modifications for the needles to be right. I do gear repair at my FD so I'm very versed in sewing and it took me a bit to get dialed in. I've motorized mine since. If you need help don't be afraid to hit me up.
