And just because you can fit your car into the right lane does not mean there's actually enough space; minimum safe distance generally requires several car lengths.

In short: "Don't hog the middle-lane. It's illegal and it pisses everyone off around you."

So true, no freedom on the Autobahn :-( But the good thing in GER is: everythings has an associated law :-) You can only use the middle or left lane constantly, if your speed doesn‘t allow you (hopefully your speed is allowed) to change to the middle or right(„iest“ :-)) lane for more than 20secs. Officials don‘t wanna have the „Wilde Maus“ (wild mice, look up for Kirmes) on any street. Speaking with H. Yes! I usually cut out of most videos a few seconds before the end but i always stay for the NALF jingle at the end, (does it have a real name?).

@@maggiemae9099 you can be overtaken on the right, for example in a traffic jam. but the audi driver who overtook him on the right was definitely annoyed 😂

I have to apologize, you didn't seem to notice. your statement refers to stagnant traffic. otherwise this rule applies. however, you can stay in the middle lane on a 3-lane freeway, provided you occasionally drive on the far right. the 20-second rule is often called this.

As a German, I would overtake you REALLY slowly on your right, while shouting and honking at you 😂🎉

But he simply did what is called "Angepasste Geschwindigkeit" - Weather matched speed ;-) Alright, I agree, slower traffic must keep right. On the other hand the overtaking car on the right lane hadn't done it right either.

@@horakov6415 what? Did you not see that rain? He was driving a “den Wetter- und Sichtverhältnissen angepasste Geschwindigkeit”, the other car had no reason to overtake him there.

Even I as an american, living in germany, noticed that and went to the comments 😂😂 come on nalf, get over to the right

Seriously, if someone overtakes you on the right, you're doing something elementary wrong

I dont know your background, but should be easy enough to find something in that field.
