at least she was honest and simply assessed her state by saying "i have naturally pale lips" rather than bombarding us with an essay about self acceptance and esteem like everyone else in this series.. which i like about her.
@@ez5993 really? It's just the person opinion, she doesn't like it so she is gonna do something abt it, she didn't say that pale lips are ugly and that everyone should feel the same way as her... It's just her opinion!
Grey 5... It isn’t. If you get a liposuction, but then start eating bad again you *will* gain that weight back again. Liposuction just sucks some fat out of you, it is up to you to stay fit or gain the weight back on.
@@sanketalokhande1562 Even that's not permanent. The surgery is, well gastric bypass is...gastric sleeve can be, but if you don't change your eating habits, even that's no guarantee. I know because my dad had a gastric bypass when I was in my teens and he can now eat just as much as he used to. He gained almost all the weight back.
I can’t stop thinking of someone going up to her and saying “Where’d you get your lipstick from” y’all don’t have to ruin the joke by saying “she can just answer truthfully and say it’s a tattoo” btw
Is it just me, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when people wear masks but don’t put it over their nose! So then what’s the point of putting on a mask?!?! Edit: To all the people asking, I am aware this was posted before COVID, but I still wanted to post this comment nonetheless. Secondly, a study has shown that wearing your mask below your nose is worse than not wearing a mask at all because you breathe in the germs off your mask AND in the air. So please be safe!
@@sunnynite7535 this was most likely filmed before we knew of covid19. The technician is wearing the mask to stop HER germs spreading into the treatment area not because she's worried of catching something from the client. Yes she could also spread germs through her nose but not in the same way (she can't spit from her nose). Wearing masks over the nose and mouth also makes breathing uncomfortable and she probably doesn't want any distractions while she's doing the procedure.
I had my lips done last October and was terrified that it wouldn't look natural. After the initial healing and touch up 6-8 weeks later I was impressed. My artist did a fabulous job and I plan to return to her for all permanent make-up. Note my artist also does nipple tattoos for all breast cancer survivors at no cost to the client.
i want to see black woman's lips next time, please EDIT: i can't believe that my comment got more than 4K likes! and it's engaging too with all these replies, thank you all. Love from Belgium.
There's so many dumb comments being pressed about Nora's face mask and her earings ya'll need to get a life tbh. The mask is for anti spit (this was pre-pandemic) and her earings are _none_ of your business.
@@Julia-ye5rc Yes, _"most people"_ . Covid 19 was only declared a pandemic by March 2020. And LA only made face mask use mandatory around April. People are acting silly about how she wore her mask without considering the date they shot this video.
@@Julia-ye5rc were you wearing a mask in February? Because I wasn’t and most people were not until after March (because we weren’t told/enforced yet)... she’s a tattoo artist most of the time they naturally will wear masks and gloves for sanitation reasons (they have to)... I have tattoos and my artist wore a mask with gloves and I got my tattoos back in like October of 2019
i agree on the earring part, but masks weren’t created or anything for covid. they’re are other things other than covid. people, especially in cosmetic services, wear it for sterile reasons and maybe to help not breath in any fumes every single day. so still, wearing it wrong makes no sense
I wonder what hues they would use on someone with a dark skin tone. Especially since tan/dark girls tend to have brown lips. I only saw pink shades on her pallet.
No a professional by any means but I randomly got stuck in a cosmetic tattoo rabbit hole on Instagram 😂 I saw a lot of places that specialize in dark lips and dark lip correction using orange hues. If someone has dark lips and likes them that way, nudes with orange undertones are used. If someone has dark lips and wants them "corrected" they use a brighter orange/pink tone that cancels out the dark patches once healed.
@@geeklette99 I was thinking a dark girl with pale lips. I wonder if they can mix a brown tone that will complement the skin shade. Wait, I don't know what colors make brown lol.
I mean, I took my daughter to a piercing shop to get her ears pierced. She might have been a little intimidated at first (she was 9), but they were all super nice to her and treated her like a customer worth doting on. Made me super happy to take her there to give her a good experience with piercings.
Nobody: Literally nobody: RU-vid: here is a recommendation for u which u have not even though about exists in this qarentine u should definitely watch this
the is a permanent (well semi) alternative to lipstick, it can be done for a number of reasons, maybe some don't don't to spend all that money on makeup, some can't find the right shade, some don't know how to apply it, it's all preference.
I think what she means is that it will last 2-5 years and after that, say on the 5th year, she will have to come in every year for a retouch. Makes sense.
Oh,sorry ik now, so the video was uploaded I assume before quarantine, and so the tattoo artist wear a face mask prolly so when she speaks, her spit don't come out
Well before coronavirus, a lot of Asian used to use masks. Once I asked why (I thought bcs their air was polluted) and they told me “bcs we didn’t fell pretty/handsome today”
@@muddywater1710 I think they look pretty cool. I wouldn't get it done but when someone with blue eyes has the whites of their eyes completely black it kinda makes them look like a demon or vampire or something I love it
My lips are naturally pink, the get pale when they are dry tho, i just make sure to keep them moisturized and if I want them to look more pink i bite down on them 😂
I think that we shouldn’t hate on people who choose this, because she says that it makes her feel better and more confident. I think that people should only do this, though, if she really think this through. Which she did. I am proud of her for doing what she wants.
PierceTheSkye _ When I meet someone new, I always say, “hi, my name is Rachael-Nichole.” I also use it when I am typing. I don’t know why I do it but I always did that. I always said my name was Rachael-Nichole since I was 5.
@@namirahgolandaz8778 It might shine through and/or when she goes to sleep or something or just doesn’t have the right ones/ doesn’t want to put on any lipstick that sucks sooo 💁🏼♀️
@@darliinqrosesroblox9060 what you said really doesn't make much sense. A) it is not shiny she applies gloss over the tattoo to make it appear shiny and it fades away in a week or two even if there was any shine and B) what are you talking about sleeping and such stuff? Why would she wanna match her lipstick to her night costume while sleeping? and C) she knew that this would be the colour of her lips for a long time and took the decision nonetheless so she obviously would buy other lipsticks in case the current one doesn't match her outfit. It's not something to argue about as it's not a decision you made so 🤷♀️
@@darliinqrosesroblox9060 And? Her natural lip color will also show through a bit and effect the make up look...idk if you’ve realized that and why do you mention when she sleeps?? I’m so confused lol
I cannot believe how great this looks. I remember when I first heard about permanent makeup like 10 years ago, and people would look kind of crazy. It’s cool to see how far it’s come.
This is so good to see what a proper lip blush is supposed to look like :’)! I’ve seen so many botched lip blush tattoos from people who have done a one day course and think they are qualified to start charging people 😱😱😱!!
Me: *watches in black girl two toned lips* Edit: I didn’t comment this to say I don’t like my two colored lips, I was insinuating that a tattoo like this wouldn’t work out🤦🏾♀️
Pale lips are usually a sign of low iron. It's amazing how our face lets us know what's going on inside of the rest of our bodies. Dark circles under the eyes can sometimes indicate fatigue, allergies, and dehydration or malnourishment. Red cheeks can indicate overheating or embarrassment. Etc.
bro just because her hair is green doesn't mean she was someone else, she doesn't even look like her slightest. and the color range is not even the similar one. i know its a joke but please, get your joke together.
I got this done and I choose a dark nude chestnut color that faded a bit lighter and I’m obsessed. Bring your favourite lipliners and lipsticks and they’ll shade match it for you but permanently. Highly recommend this.
As someone with naturally very red lips this is actually really interesting. I must say I’d probably take paler lips as most of the time I can’t wear any colour because it just doesn’t show up, and putting concealer on before just isn’t convenient most of the time. However I think this looks really pretty. x
This is something I always wanted before I knew it existed. I’ve been insecure of my natural lip color since a child, and I always wear lipstick but I spend a lot of money on some that are cakey on my lips or make them really dry. This is a dream procedure for me, I’d feel so much more confident 💓
I was thinking - oh no not another person who wears a mask WRONG. Dust mask or not - it should also be over her nose. Why show it at all if it’s not worn correctly. Just take it off to talk to the camera. Put it on correctly to work.
So she doesn’t spit on her client like most dentist.. although I had a dentist who spat on me because he was talking while I was getting a cleaning. I never came back ..tf is wrong w ppl these days lol
I’m sure that she’s been told this 1 million times but she has a Molly Ringwald look about her. And I’m sure it’s the red hair but I think even if her hair was a little darker she would still have that look 💕
She does have very pretty lips Also, I'm really impressed how good this looks. I honestly thought it was gonna look fake but I was surprised on how cute and natural it looks
sooz lecter same, I’m super pale and have light blonde hair, and my lips are naturally a dark pink, almost red. They just look kind of wrong on my face
Honestly I have pastel pink natural lips and people just asume I have a lip tattoo and they give me looks smh. But lol when people ask me where I got lipstick from😅😅

Coz we always get everything partially, so it's understandable that we feel the need to have some more... If they say Why, Why? Tell em' that it's Human Nature.
Omg I have never thought about having any sort of cosmetic anything done to me. But I can actually see myself doing a lip coloring tattoo. Like I actually want to do that and just have perfectly colored lips all the time, yes please.
@@cliziamorgante1342 ikr. "Too pigmented for my liking" my butt. It's her lips and she wanted them that color. Good for the op to want some other color, but it honestly sounds like they're throwing shade for it being that color
Hi, I got my lips lip brushed about 8 months ago. It was the most painful “tattoo” I’ve ever gotten. My lips turned 3 sizes bigger for like one week. I did ask for a more pigmented lip blush, so perhaps that’s the reason, but oh, boy! So incredibly painful. Just so you all know… Edit: and it took 5 hours
Pale lips are a sign of digestive issues. Your GI tract starts from your lips. A diet of lots of healthy greens, probiotics, good cardio and proper skin care is key. Supplementing with the correct vitamins and especially redox is also key. lip tattoos- can be beautiful but also cover up the signal you body send your through the color of your lips. signed, Registered Nurse
not to mention her lips at the beginning looked dry as a desert. moisture and hydration would make them look significantly darker almost instantly. but yes could also be anemia so yeah not loving the idea of covering up an issue rather than researching its cause :/
1. What do you mean by redox? Like redox reactions? 2. I don’t disagree necessarily with what you’re saying but I just think the average person, like myself, who is fairly healthy doesn’t ever notice a significant lip color change nor uses that to assess health, unlike many people using dark circles to assess exhaustion (mine are genetic/hereditary but worsen with poor sleep and sickness). 3. If you have genetically paler lips, which definitely is a thing, I don’t see any problem. Outside of a few medical conditions that make lips pale, you wouldn’t use your lips to assess health often anyway. And as a medical professional, I’m sure you also don’t. You may notice it but that wouldn’t be how a diagnosis is made. 4. There are far better ways to assess your health than lip color.
@@graceysarah23 there is a messuring device that is way more accurate, a Pulsoxymeter (don't know what it is called in English). O2 should be at 95%-100%, lips turn blue under 80% and you are already hypoxic.
I'm really pale but have always had rosy lips. I actually used to get made fun of in elementary school bc of it. Every one would accuse me if wearing lipstick. I hated it! I used to use the back of my hand to wipe my lips to prove I didn't have any on haha the kids in my elementary school would pick on one another for anything!
Brooke N Same! Mine is related to a arrhythmia, though. I got scolded for wearing makeup to school/work when I was young. I’d have to “remove” it front of whoever was (somehow) offended by my bright lips. Obviously, there wasn’t any residue to wipe off, but I never got an apology. Years later, I had a MUA friend who was FASCINATED by it in a really sweet way. She’d bring different clear balms and glosses to have me try as well as experimenting with those “clear to custom” color changing glosses. I’ll admit, that was fun.
