So I've been curious about regional style for a long time now, so after the holidays we traveled to three different U.S. cities and got a makeover in the street fashion of that city. We traveled to Miami, Dallas, and Portland and teamed up with locals who helped us craft our head-to-toe looks! Which one was your favorite?

You should do "wearing clothes out of my comfort zone for a week" such as wearing short shorts if you're uncomfortable showing thigh, or exposing belly button for a week if that's something you're uncomfortable with. Or even like, wearing your hair up for a week. Just something to help you expand your clothing comfort zone. It'd be cool to watch you grow and expand your horizons.

Why? You don't have colors? I mean your clothes made different colors? That's kind of boring. It hard to imagine everybody is the same. I used to be the same but then I got more into colors from my mom who has a love of colors! Her favorite color is actually yellow! Mine was just blue and I used to only wear black mostly and blue but for some reason I just started loving colors lol

As awesome as House or Vintage is, the Red Light, just down the street on Hawthorne is by far the best thrift store in Portland, House of Vintage is specific outsourced designer type clothes that are WAY too expensive sometimes, you have to really search to find a good deal, but Red Light is way better, both for good clothes and cheapness, but the quality of the clothes are not compromised by the reasonable prices. Just saying, if you live in Portland, go to both places and make your own opinions on them, just know that Red Light is better for prices and cool items, House of Vintage is a deep sea diving type thrift store, you have to look at literally everything to know if you've found a good deal

If you guys ever do this again please come to Philly!! There are tons of cool places to check out on South Street! Also all kinds of places in center city. I highly suggest South Street though bc A) it's super fun, and B) it has a great aesthetic for a photoshoot/video montage lol

Born and raised in Seattle, lived in Eugene Oregon: Portland outfit, accurate. Honeymooned in south beach Florida, lived in tropical climate: Florida outfit, accurate. Currently live in Texas: Dallas outfit, accurate. This was my favorite one of her videos so far. So spot on. Good job Saf.

Because that's literally the type of people that live in Highland Park. Highland Park is fucking awful and is known as the snotty soccer mom fashion area of Dallas. I'm a Texas native and I'm so glad that Dallas was represented pretty well here. Especially when she said that Cowboys aren't a big thing here. Just getting tired of everyone thinking that Texas is super southern and country. It really isn't.

Best thing you can do really for any of em is to make lots of noise as you’re hikin so they don’t approach you to begin with. They’ll try to avoid you whenever possible, even a mama will just get up and take her cubs with her. She’s mainly defensive when she feels like you’ve walked up on her. Make noise, she hears something that sounds big coming, she’d rather leave than confront.

Well, I think Americans tend to call anything second-hand "thrifted".. I've definitely seen these types of vintage stores in larger UK cities (Bristol, Manchester off the top of my head, ofc London too). Their equivalent of charity shops would be Goodwill and the Salvation Army - though ofc they probably are much bigger!

@@missvioletnightchild2515 yep we have a wide variety of second hand stores, which is where I get the vast majority of my clothes, jewelry, household stuff, ok most of my everything lol. I went here when I visited Portland. A lot of the stuff was second hand but with Beverly Hills prices. Most of the t-shirts I found were at least $15, ranging up to $100!!! I did also find more reasonably priced thrift stores and consignment shops.

Honestly, your experience is far more accurate to mine shopping at secondhand shops in the USA. There’s like a difference between “thrift stores” that usually curate what they’ll take from people and has slightly higher prices and certain brands, and something thats probably more similar to a charity shop, like Goodwill, which takes pretty much anything you throw their way. The only things I’ll get at the nice thrift stores are jeans bc they look nicer than Goodwill jeans 😂
