Looks like a great new toy! Do you brother, you can’t worry about what people want and/or expect you to do! I’ll watch what you post. I have a T@G camper now but would still like to see your build on your teardrop. Thank you for sharing!
Hey Zack, they say brilliant minds think alike. I did the same storage system in my Rzr XP 1000 that you did except I used Dewalt storage boxes of the same size. The Dewalt boxes have a thick flange that extends outward from the sides and bottom of the box. I notched the flange so the box could set flat on the floor of the storage compartment. No after market feet needed. The Ridged boxes don’t have that reinforcement flange. I plan to keep tools, spare parts and supplies in the bottom box and recovery gear in the shallower top box. I’d send photos but I don’t know how.
Southern Ginger Workshop The boxes worked great until they wouldn’t hold everything I wanted to carry, lol. So I switched to the Dewalt base toolbox of the same line. Again similar to the Ridgid boxes, this is the box that had the two large wheels and the handle that the smaller boxes attached to. I removed the handle, the wheels, and trimmed the reinforcement lip like I did on the smaller box. Works great.
