And the green in the jumpsuit isn't even warm but it's cold 😭😭 I truly love it She honestly looks better in her black vampire outfits. Would be great to see a video about a kibbe makeover. I guess that she's a soft natural. So the flowey bat-sleeves are her best choice!

ok, whoooaaa... the hair and makeup make you almost seem a different person, and by that, I mean you seem much more open and approachable (possibly because of the whole warm vibe?). the previous look wasn't bad, it was a little more sophisticated but in the "untouchable" sense. the new changes make you appear way more friendly... like the difference between angelina jolie and selena gomez/jennifer lawrence

Gorgeous! New sass looks really natural and beautiful. Keep trying different colors. I was so surprised one day I put on a coral color top thinking it would probably be to pink for my light brown hair and hazel eyes. I got so many compliments in the color I found myself looking to see if I could find more. A new game lol

My first impression of Safiya (and Tyler) when I first saw her on BuzzFeed, was that she was a very attractive person. Very pretty face. The irony is, you forget that because she doesn't lead with her appearance at all. She is very cerebral, quirky, witty, creative, and a lot of good things that are all about inner qualities - which is fantastic. Very well-rounded person, and it's one of the reasons why I really like her. Because she is a true original, who leads with her personality, skills, head, and heart. There are so many superficial, narcissistic people out there, and Safiya has always struck me as the opposite. I'm so happy for her success.
I can't help but notice her appearance. Her coloring is dramatic, her eyes are large and widely spaced, her skin and bone structure are a makeup artist's dream, and her smile is infectious. It's her unpredictable intelligence that draws me back to her videos, though. She makes me laugh.

I read all those tween magazines growing up, during my "conformity phase". My life changed when I stopped dressing for my face/body, and started expressing myself how I want. I feel confident and hot when I dress like a sparkly goth circus clown.

Can I just say, I absolutely love how confident Safiya is with herself and how open to advice and constructive criticism she is when the comes to her body, style, face, hair, etc. it’s really something I admire a lot about her being a relatively new viewer, and it’s so inspiring to watch someone who isn’t considered “perfect” try to better themselves, but not necessarily for their own benefit, simply as more of an experiment. I dunno, I just appreciate how open-minded she is and how she presents herself with so much confidence, and I really love how encouraging it is.

What I learned from this is that I have wasted a lot of time trying to find "flattering" styles of hair and clothing just to fit into what we have stereotyped as the perfect feminine image when really I should just be whatever I am and not give af because everyone is beautiful...thanks for coming to my ted talk, it was cheesy I apologize
I totally agree. I find looking to Japan super helpful - they accentuate a totally different body shape! And a totally differente silhouette is considered feminine and beautiful.
Yes, society makes us think we constantly have to be the better versions of ourselves especially about our physical appearances, when in reality this constant push is even more negative than the thing we're trying to change. The actual attractive thing that you can find in a person is them being themselves, so don't give an f about the outside opinions (other people/society) and focus more on internal (ourselves). If you try to always stay in the standards, you're actually becoming boring since you're the expectations with no thrill, but if you're unique then you'll bring more thrill that will make people enjoy your presence. Notice how sometimes you prefer to interact with the friend who annoys and teases you than the people who don't, that's because you enjoy their presence and accept their flaws because it makes them unique and more fun. There are a lot of celebrities that became popular even if they don't fit into the standards, take Hwasa and Jessi for examples. They don't fit the Korean beauty standards but they're successful because they're being themselves off and on cam and it's actually an inspiration for a lot of people. Also notice how most plastic surgeries either look unnatural af or look really bad, that's because you're beautiful just the way you are and you don't need to change a thing. Everyone has different preferences, someone might not like you but there's always someone who will and that's what you should focus on, you can't please everyone and everyone can't please you. It is what it is, it's not your obligation to impress everyone. Sorry for the lengthy comment lol, just wanna put it out there for anyone who needs it.

I'm pale olive and I thought I was warm and muted colored, I see it too. I didn't like the yellow gold at all on her skin, it looked pasted on to be honest. I think I silver suits her much better.
