Today I went to Santa Cruz go Metal detecting on the beach. The tides have been working against me this week so the hunt was a bit “realistic” as they say. However there were still targets and plenty of scenery to enjoy! 🤙

I still watch because of your entertaining low-key running commentary and of course, "my" vacation beaches. But I've mostly stopped watching other channels that don't include tones. S&D Erich solved the (tones on headphones & YT // but not for bystanders) issue.

Hi Daniel, we have sun dogs in southern Minnesota but they only happen in the dead of winter.. I watch you and Jim and Robert because you are always very interested. I am sorry that people pester you. Still hope that if Jim makes a medal detector That you still be in the movie too. In Southern Minnesota, are schools start in September because of our State Fair.

Yea I don’t wanna mess around and end up getting pulled out. I suck at swimming in perfect conditions so throw in some waves and kelp and it’s a wrap 🤣🤣

And you can’t see the rips or undertow most the time! It’s a bad feeling with a 800.00 scoop in your hand and a 1200 dollar machine. Which one do you let go of? lol for me it was grab them both. That’s why I went to the detect pal harness! One it keeps you from getting worn out as fast on the 8 hour hunts and 2 it free’s up your other hand! I can swim with it if I have to. And the scoop floats ish ish. You seriously should try the detect pal harness! They are super cheap! It was a game changer for those long hunts! You won’t be hurting the next day as far as wrists and such! Let me know if you get one and I will tell you how to mod it so it lasts! If you notice on my videos the machine doesn’t get in your way at all when you let it go! You can squat , bend over whatever and you don’t have to worry about it hitting the ground.

Now we know...... no water hunting... we are lucky in FL. *now I'm in NY not so lucky. I love when you show the sights... and you are never an idiot....and in FL you can have headphones on and they stop you to chat.... or say if you find anything its mine, that's when I hand them the trash.

Yea it’s that time of year again. The post-summer, pre-storm time where everything is kinda stale. Might be time for some park hunts until the next swell comes through 🤷‍♂️😂
