@@Iopf every support except sym could,every support after sym got changed could heal,being able to heal is just an expected part of a supports kit now is what I'm trying to say,a support like old sym that was just utility and damage would never happen again

I've managed to have a positive winrate with LW, but he feels like ass against Illari. She's basically another DPS ultimate and LW ultimate is already weak AF.

They didn’t want him to be a power creep type character like Kiriko was

​@crowquet56 Yeah. His ult and survivability got a big buff, and especially his ult basically being tree+Rally 1.0. His damage got a buff too with the spread on 1 of of his projectiles being reduced. Remains to be seen how good he'll be, but they are, once again, big buffs. The thing is it's always been utility that holds him back, and his utility abilities are still the same.

Okay, the one crumb they get is that if Lifeweaver was on par with her that would be so stupidly broken compared to Mercy outside of ult, you'd basically HAVE to play Ana Kiriko and pray you get picks or they just wall thru you

I was also thinking it will be a nasty combo to play her and Moira together. Coal and Sun or just damage orb will be a nasty combo

Just her ult combo'd with a firestrike, or a junk mine, or Pharah rocket, or -Soldier helix- , or Cass grenade.. I mean, so much in this game deals 90+ damage and is easy to hit lol

Her ult can get insta activated with so many things But the one i'm most excited to see? Rein firestrike. Goes through shields so there's no way to easily stop it, and does exactly 100 damage, and it goes through targets so even if they're far away from each other it can activate multiple targets. Typicall these massive momentum/area denail ults are relegated to tanks, think shatter, orisa, sigma, grav, hammond mines. Som DPS have them too like mei ult, but a suppirt having this kind of momentum ult? Even if her other abilitues were mid she'd be strong, but with the rest of her kit? She's going to be busted

Or just combo it with 90% of the ults in the game lmao.

@@JamesBD05 I’m pretty sure they all target the very first person that comes into range and only swap targets if the current target dies, or goes out of range. I might be wrong but I’ve never really seen any of them swap targets unless one of those two scenarios happen

Have played her. Verdict she is. I’m a hitscan player so she is in my wheelhouse. But averaging 26elims 9.5k heals/dmg per 10. She’s insane

Yeah that would be pretty strong but I hate how it’s not really a support ult if it did the same thing to their teammate but if they took 90 damage it healed them for 120

If you shoot it into a grav combo and just deal 90dmg to anyone in it, it'll just obliterate everyone regardless of tranc, beat, whatever. First time a support has been able to combo with Zarya in ult

Winston would also be a very good tank combo too with his jump doing 50 impact damage right and telsa cannon doing 55 right?

Also carnage on junker queen would be good too with rein fire strike 100 damage

Illarias headshot already does over 90 dmg in a single shot, she can solo boom just fine

Yea she's kinda like launch sojourn in that way. Absolutely busted at high ranks, and at mid-low ranks she'll be really strong but not broken

i main support and ngl this just looks like support sojourn. blizzard likes to do this thing where they cycle which role is disgustingly op and it seems like now is supports turn. dont worry tho a couple months later it will be the tanks turn again and the cycle will continue

@@egordon7543 My prediction she's going to absolutely dominate in higher ranks and be just okay in lower ranks. Her ult is definitely just flat out broken (honestly craziest thing to me is the idea that the usual ult counters of beat and transcendence won't do anything lmfao) but the rest of her kit is going to take skill to use effectively (especially her heals).

this is my thought, I've played 2 games with her already and it was a bit too powerful. I think they will increase the cost a lot in not very long.

Playing against her is pain. Not only she got insane healing output, but also a hit scan attack that can shoot on long distances. Her healing pylon is very annoying as to kill her you need to destroy it first. Then she can just knock you back and on to a safe distance. My first impression might be wrong about her but I expect her to get nerfed soon.

@laxing1480 yeah whilst ana got a dps nerf and zen discord didn't get changed so tanks still can't play the game or atleast won't have fun doing it because now we gotta kill a turret first before we can even remotely do pressure and get headshot for 112,5 dmg instead of 75 by a ana

I disagree. They’ll keep the damage but I foresee fire rate or healing nerfs. Her healing is way too good to also then be two tapping people like kiriko. Don’t even get me started on her pylon, it lets her focus more on dealing damage or pocketing the tank or dps. It’s going to be so op in silver and gold lobbies especially on console, it’s also got way too much health for being able to safety be placed and stick to walls. It’s really obvious they didn’t want to repeat rams situation and release a hero under balanced but they over did it I think.

It looks like her heal beam pierces, so it is potentially a multi target heal

She won't get nerfed in a hurry because blizz has a profit incentive to make sure new heroes are broken so people will pay to unlock them. They even forewarned us that the new hero was going to be OP because they don't want a repeat of the LW launch where people aren't rushing to play the new thing.

It heals the currently lowest health hero within range. So if there were 2 200 hp teammates, one with 10 hp and one with 160, it would heal the first one 4 times up to 170 health, then heal the second up to full since they'd be lower, and then go back to the first until everyone is at full health.

It heals the person with the lowest percentage of hp points so if rein had 120 hp and a ashe had 112 rein would get healed first because of his larger overall hp pool

Doubt it. She doesn’t seem super strong, but she is good. Heal beam is the only thing I’d consider nerfing but it’s mostly balanced by the low uptime.

@@loki7701 Bud due to her sheer existence, every tank is now buffed. With a mercy and illari pocket, tanks like rein basically need to be focused by an entire team to die. Illari has a max healing output of 180 per second. Combine that with another pocket and you're out healing the damage basically any character in the game can output. It's not hard to understand

@@ozmoses2492 don’t forget that the heal thing is super map dependent and team dependent. You have to play super close to it and it needs to be in cover or else it’s either useless or gets snapped out of existence. Mercy isn’t that hard to kill, especially considering her movement is fucked right now. You really just need to aim better. Bait out ga, play a hitscan character, it’s not that hard. (Before you say it, no, i’m not in gold/plat. Gm 3 currently.) On top of all of that, the tank is usually the last thing you want to be shooting. Just enough to pressure, not really going for a kill unless it’s actually possible due to their bad positioning. Your tank should be the one keeping them busy while you outshoot the enemy team. If both supports are pocketing the tank, kill the dps, or, better yet, kill the supports. The new hero movement isn’t even that bad to deal with. It sets her in a predictable line. A widow in bronze could punish it when used wrong. Just shoot at the peak of the jump. She is not busted. She is definitely good, better than most of the other supports, but she’s not busted. She has to play super close without good movement, the one movement thing she does have is super easy to punish, her heal stick needs los and cover to work without being instantly destroyed. Again, I can see her beam being nerfed (not anytime soon, it’s a new character) with adjustments to the rest of her kit, but nerfed into the ground is a vast overestimate.
