You guys, I have MERMAID HAIR! Trying out a new method that I've never had before, the Beaded Row Extensions! Working with Laced Hair Extensions, we custom made the perfect hand tied wefts for my hair and my talented friend Omar installed them for me! Hope you guys like this little peak into how this method is done! There are many versions to this style, and this is just one of them! Who wants to see a video on how I custom root extensions? If you were to, say, French braid your hair would the tracks be visible or obvious? I’ve been leaning towards the micro bead methods because I feel they would be less noticeable but I also want to minimise damage to my regrowth or there was no point cutting my damaged hair in the first place

Alexsis Mae oh ya I agree.. Ya it's fast and easy.. I just don't really mess with extensions at all at my job.. But it's good to know. Maybe if I ever booth rent I would consider it.. It's just so exspencive to get it started. I have gotten to comfortable in my environment and its enabling my growth. Do you booth rent or own your own shop?

Hi! I have a question.. How is it to wash and brush through your hair with the beads? I’ve always wondered if they pull and tug or get caught in the brush? I’m losing my hair due to Multiple Sclerosis and was wanting to do these extensions for a while now. I love how yours came out, your hair looks awesome! ❤️ Also, I’m a new Subscriber, yay! 😁👍🏼❤️

I had micro bead weft put in but not hand tied. They only use the beads to attach them. I loved them. I didn’t find it to hard to brush, just be a little more gentle. Honestly, it was the best!

That's because the stylist continually makes it too tight and they aren't taken care of very well

I had them done (not sewn in like that tho. The beads that attached to her hair actually can attach the extensions. I would hate having them sewn in!) They lasted so long and my hair was the healthiest! Tape ins were the worst!

My hair is very thin and i tried the beaded it was a horrible experience. By the time i arrived home 6 fell off and when i brush my hair all went down. I was so upset called the salon they did nothing. Money down the drain. The tape extension are great for me but now see this would love to try it. I live in Hain City Florida do you know of any salons that does this method of style? Crossing finger

That’s part of what ruined my hair with the tape ins I had, you couldn’t brush it at the root and my hair matted up like crazy.... and I lost a lot of my natural hair. I’d love to know the upkeep on these to keep that from happening

Why do you do the sowing part? When I got the wefts they were all just added with the beads. Seemed way easier. Both the extensions and my hair were put into one bead. You can also get wefts with beads already sown on! (Perfect locks)

A technique I use with my clients is similar but much easier, it’s a beaded track with anchor points to sew to but you have even tension to prevent traction alopecia 👍🏽

Everyone has different approaches to extensions. This method has been tried and true when done correctly to not create any tension on the hair.

Alexsis Mae I've tried and tested many variations of weaving which creates even tension..... but it's all about efficiency, as time is money for my staff and I we use a technique which is quick and effective but also has a long lasting result, it's definitely worth looking into as many variations of sew in wefts as you can.

I recommend a consultation to see if it will work for you! I wash my hair like normal, and they last 6-8 weeks then you get them moved back up. I only use Laced Hair Extensions 😉

I just had the heat infused keratin beaded hair extensions in my head after doing a keratin treatment... however my hair is so flat now and I don’t like how flatter the hair is now in my hair. Help! I need to know if there is away to give volume and texture to my very silky smooth hair?

You sure can. You just need them installed for your hair type!

I love the method, but I just had out done with machine wefted hair and it was HORRIBLE. SO thick at the sew line and bulky. Please tell me where to get the exact hair. I couldn't see a sew line on the wefts, when he was installing. That's my hang up with extensions. Either the tape is shiny or the thick threads on the weft show

Thank you! You get them moved up every 5-8 weeks and they cost anywhere from $350-$1400 for the hair depending on quality and amount. The installation is $125 an hour

Awesome thanks so much! I ordered my hair and it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Excited to have them put in this week using this method! We went with the machine weft per Laced Hair's recommendation since my stylist is practicing this method herself and they said it would be a little easier to learn on. But I love how he glued your pieces together!!

Easy! Just like normal you just want to be a bit more gentle , and you can blow dry like normal.

It’s just done a different way since caucasian hair tends to be more fragile. Instead of braids it’s done with beads and string! Not a new concept, just a switch up of the method 😉 Ps love your nationality mix, so gorgeous!

@@AlexsisMae African American hair is actually consider the most fragile. Your hair is just "consider" harder to grip and stay if it is very oily and if it doesnt have naturally have a curl or wave pattern to it (or texture and natural Volume without product and a blow dryer) Also black women have been doing beaded weaves since the 80s, it's not new and it was inspired by black women doing glue in weave, this was consider the healthier alternative, also this method is taken and inspire by a black woman who created the braidless method where thread was sew into the hair and the track was sew in the thread. The u shape or v shape parting he did was also done by African Americans it's called the "full coverage parting" meant for people with alopecia, thinner hair, no hairline or thin edges but now as a way to put the hair in a ponytail and provide full coverage. Their is nothing wrong with giving credit where it is due. This was FIRST called a "individual sew in weave". Extensions is the name of the hair. But how the extension are place in (installed) has another name. You got it sew in therefore it is a "weave". ❤️

Moms side= Italian, and Cuban (I know, my poor husband) 😊 I have super curly, very thick hair. Would this work on thick hair?? I have never tried extensions- but I would love to see beautiful straight hair on myself.

If anyone is in LA my hair stylist does a way better job and doesnt charge alot iam happy to see iam getting a pro job done been with her 2 years. Shes fast and her job is clean cut this is everywhere crocked sloppy sorry but iam just comparing.
