Tip... If you use thinning shears on the ends of the clients actual hair before install you won't have to work as hard at blending them in with the extensions.
This is by far the best hair extensions video I've ever seen. I was gonna try glue ins but I believe you've convinced me to do these. Looks amazing! Ty for the tips and good info!
VERY good instructional video, super clear, concise instructions with immediate explanation given for why you're doing it. no filler, all info. great stuff!
Brilliant video. I wish just the small sections of the application of the extensions be shown slower otherwise the main sectioning of the hair is so brilliant. Thank you 👍❤️
I wish it was this easy! I bought hair and micro rings for cold fusion and then found, that the rings are too small. The 'hard end' og the hair pieces fit the hole in the ring, some of them however with a little effort. But either way it means, that there is no space in the ring for the head hear. So i have been splitting them up, which is quite difficult as the end of the hair pieces is quite hard material. Cutting/splitting them up gives you thinner pieces (too thin) and also loss. I contacted the clinic from where I bought it all, asking for rings. They told me, they did also cut the pieces up when making cold fusion on their customers, sometimes an oblique cut at the top of the 'end' might be enough. They had very sharp scissors to do this, she said. And yes, this was extra work. I have been searching for bigger rings, which would solve this problem, but all rings seem to be standard sizes, at least the size does not seem to be an option in general. So I really wonder how it can look this easy? Every video shows the same: The hair pieces slip easily through the ring. The general idea and method is great and works well. It is easy to put on the hair pieces (when the size allows), and the rings have a strong hold when squeezed. Only the hair pieces do not fit the rings, the rings are too small. I would very much like comments on this! :-)
@@GS86111 Thank you. Probably another way to do it. I guess you mean melting over fire/a lighter? Since i wrote this I have found that an oblique cut in the tip with a sharp scissor solves the problem like the clinique said, and it isn't that difficult. Definitely easier and better than cutting in two halves. So I think the bottom line is that guidance about cold fusion should include that this can be a problem and how to solve it. :-)
Go for it once you be in high-school get in Cosmetology and you won't have to pay for it. Get your license as soon as you finish your hours Best of luck 🤗🙏 and remember Practice makes perfect 🥰
This is most likely 20 inches:) dreamcatchers only carries 20in in I-Tips you can get longer from them but have to be custom ordered I wish they just carried different lengths without custom ordering
Aww that’s awesome and I know you’ll reach your dream and you’ll be amazing at it! Good luck and I’ll be praying that your dreams come true. ❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️
I believe my stylist did a great job on my itip install but I have fine hair. I CANT GET RID OF THE PAIN! Is it because I have a sensitive scalp or because I have fine hair or what? Because she says that she doesn't have anybody else have this extreme amount of pain but I am on my second move up and the pain is intolerable. I don't wanna waste all this $ but I also don't wanna be in pain for the next year ( or however long these last)
How much would you charge per row + hair? Also this was super helpful. Would love to see how you thread the itip onto the natural hair because it skipped it each time.
How does one put each individual one in??? I see there’s a long plastic stem at the top. I see you clamping it on but what happens to the long stem??? I hope you can do a video on zooming in on how one is put on. Cause this video did not help me.
i did this extentions 10 years ago, was very expensive but i cant handle, its so uncomfortable, itchi. and i asked my husband to uncliped them. it damaged my hair too.
This woman with the cutting is doing a great job of bonding it. Mine did not do this. I think she just cuts some of the bottom because some of the one color didn’t match the other colors. It was like OK but I was like no I said a little bit of length and a little bit of thickness what I got was, never anything I wanted I mean now I have to buy a wig for $10,000
Exactly is not great application, the last one u can see the top a lot of difference… I get mine done by a professional in uk and look’s brilliant 🤩 is crazy how can ppl pay for such a bad service.. I would be upset if I had my hair like this ..specially if I wanna wear it straight everyday not curled …

I lost all my hair last year and the ability to use my arms to "do" my hair, I want this done so bad so I can just look pretty, I have no one ( but my husband and he only kinda even tried) to help and I know people say shorter is easier to maintain but I couldn't disagree more! I wish so bad I could get these till my hair grows back but I don't think they do that here and I'm assuming it cost more than my house! ( Does anyone have an idea on the price? Maybe I can save up?)
I live in SC. The hair costs about a thousand dollars and each six weeks, the "move up" when the hair grows out is about two to three hundred dollars, with the color for the roots that have grown out, if your hair is color treated/lightened/highlighted.
Hi , i’m so sorry to hear about your story my heart goes out to you. I live in california, i bought all the hair off of amazon (itip hair) (200 grams) for about $200 and got it installed for $180. look for quality hair on amazon, i promise it looks amazing and i’ve got it done twice ! no need for $1000 hair .... there are alternatives that look and feel the same and last just as long :D look on facebook marketplace and search “itip installation” , individual women charge cheaper. If you want to save up and find a salon that will do it for a higher price with their chosen hair , that’s also possible. I’m a university student on a budget but I’m VERY picky with how the result is, so I was happy to see that my results were just as good as the expensive options. Good luck!!
The tool that puts them in can remove them. Also I have had a full head of these and couldn’t make it past 48 hours of wear bc they were that uncomfortable. It takes dedication and a little suffering for this beautiful hair but this does look like a younger girl n she probably wouldn’t be very comfortable and will have them most likely removed quite quickly!!
I have had these before, they were a little uncomfy to sleep on at first but it’s pretty easy to get over. If you want the long hair bad enough, you’ll deal with it. Beauty is pain lmao
I recently bought 1 bundle of I tip real hair extensions. It contains 100 I tip strands now is it possible to to a head of hair install . Yeah cuz I don't want that many in my hair but enough so it don't look Getto
Gorgeous extensions! I’m white living in Asia and want to do extensions, but they have only black thick Asian hair. And mine is fine thin hair. They say that in Chinese parlor they typically use only 160 gr of extensions per head… But seeing you doing 6 bundles, I would guess it’s at least 600gr? Am I right?
Pricing varies on a few things, location, experience, demographic, etc. So it is hard to give you one answer. In our course we do go over pricing. As well if you want to get this done we can connect you with a stylist near you. 1-855-373-2683
Great video! I’m hoping you can answer this question -I have IBE extensions in my hair now, it’s just one row but 5 wefts on(my hair is on the thinner/finer side), I was wondering what your take on that method vs itip extensions?
Hi Dana, Each brand or method of extensions vary, and have benefits of their own, also the stylist who put them in will make a huge difference as well. If you would like more personal recommendations or information please email us and we would be more than happy to work with you. Info@dreamcatchers.com
Hair extensions are not only for short haired people, some people put them in even if they already have long hair for more thickness and fullness of the hair!
This Varies depending on what method is chosen, but they should be maintenance every 4-6 weeks, and the hair easily lasts 6 months +, even a year plus with good maintenance.
a full point is intended for someone with regular and average hair, no concerns. With half point, they are intended for fine, fragile, delicate hair. It is lighter weight than the full point.
depends on the system. an adhesive application, you should not within 24-48 hours. If they are not an adhesive application, you can wash it right away if you want.
