In the Oakland Arena our 106 section cheered for Gilbert to come off the bench. Gilbert was very nice to us after the games. Myself and another season ticket holder would bring kids from foster homes/youth facilities that never been to a NBA game. Gilbert /Jason would take time out and speak with them. Gilbert /Jason/Jason wife would spend time with my daughter and gave her a signed pairs of shoes/take pictures since their rookie year. Gilbert even helped a young college student get a car for transporting back and forth to college campus. My daughter still has both players shoes/pictures after 20 yrs and ran into Jason in Las Vegas in a casino. Jason, "said you look familiar and remembered her when she was a little 8 yr girl who love the game of basketball. She loved to play/watch and became a junior college assistant women's coach at Chabot College. They took a beautiful picture together which will be added to all the others over history. Thanks Gilbert for all the great games we got to see in person. We were happy you got paid for your worth/value since the cheap Warriors failed to see your worth/value. Washington did see your skill set and team value.

I think throwing it into the post works just as well if you have shooters. There's a reason Robert Horry has 7 rings. Houston figured it out. Dream down low, you can't double. Everyone can shoot. Shaq down low? Same thing. Duncan? Same thing. What changed is not who has the mismatch. Both do. What changed is the league figured out that the double is coming and the shot that's next is a three. Now it doesn't matter if it's Embiid or Simmons with the mismatch. LeBron or AD. It's about thinking ahead to that next play like Gil said and finding the shooter.
