Not trying to diss you or nothing bc you're obviously a better player than I am, however I believe the jason player was more skilled in this bout. He was playing an objectively worse character in nearly every way yet he was keeping pace and dealing with the shitty hitboxes jason is plagued with. If both characters were perfectly or near perfectly balanced I believe he would have won every bout. Having said that, you are a beast in the arena bro. Keep it up and become overall top player one day.
This proves that jason isnt that bad if you are really good em. Im great jason main and im just here wondering why people are hating on jason so bad. Hes just mid B tier in my opinion

i’ve fought a lot of TOP JASONS, but this one was by far the best jason i’ve fought or even SEEN!….. i’m fairly active in the community and yet to see a better jason player, but there is no way to REALLY tell who is top 1 besides gameplay and character mastery!

He doesn’t even use his neutral in the air when you’re below it’s kind of weird maybe you gotta play me one day His reeds are really good though, but Jason had so many more set ups than what he was using. Maybe he’s just getting use to it. But I’m glad to see the acknowledgment and the skill though I just wanted to know how you were judging that so that’s a personal opinion, but still valid

Harley isn't that bad bro, I think she's still solid even after beta. She still plays like a menace, I think many pick her bc she's the closest to beta gameplay.
ngl a lot of these matches just show me Jason sucks. He like Ganondorf can kill you if they touch you. But seeing some of Jason's pressure or "combos" are just parriable kinda make their threat level not as high. What Jason does is more about reacting to your options as a player the character himself is weak not strong at all. Like I wouldn't say he is a TOD since what he can kill you with is not TRULY True (Unless I am missing something Please tell me if i am.) He suffers a lot with his frame data and long recovery like Nakatt said You can whiff punish Jason. That is still true and its worse for him against Zoners and how weak his super armor is. If Jason Commits he can get turned into Fodder and be a huge meat bag for combo videos. No diss to the Jason player AT ALL. Its just to me this shows what he is good at and what he is bad at as a character. To me if he ever has to kill with his Up special the timing never changes and with time moves like that set up kill shots wont be ass good because of parry. What I see a lot of players do (even my self) Is dodge instantly away from the blast zone or preemptively press dodge when we expect the opponent make a follow through on the juggle. In some cases with predicable up attacks like that Parry is a good and very threating reversal there its even more helpful if its telegraphed. But thats just how i feel on it. Its still a great video and fun matches to watch. To sum up what i mean. The Player is Good. Jason is not.

@malikcook8944 I second this. Bring back like everything from the beta. Customizable perks and character swap between rounds. Make people's kill moves actually kill instead certain people's up airs are stronger than others even when in the same class. Up specials somehow being more effective on certain classes even though they are supposed to your strongest moves on any class.

If you play him like the rest of the cast, yes he struggles. He doesn’t have infinites like the giant and is much slower than everyone else. His start ups are too long so everyone’s jab take priority over his. You have to play strategic with him. He does some of the most dmg if you can read your opps and counter play their spams and attacks, dodges
Good matches but honestly you would've wrecked him if you didnt make some simple mistakes. Never challenge during his armor. Most of his attacks are single heavy swings so easy to react and dodge. Hes combo meat
it was just a fun lil Ft10 with a top jason, wasn’t a tourney match so i def burnt out a lot going for sauce clips, or over challenged on armor but i appreciate the feedback ❤️
You lose because you burnout so quickly from dash exhaustion, try limiting your dashes because you get combo’d to death everytime you were burnt out, try to always save a dash

basing is based on skill with the character, i am very active in the community and i have yet to see a better jason. that’s what i’m basing this off of. its not click bait, the title says top jason challenged me. which is exactly what happened..

yes but i know 90% of all the top players personally, so i have a pretty SOLID idea of who the best jason is, the best morty the best finn etc. but i understand what you’re saying.
based on skill level within the community, i’ve very very very well tapped with a lot of the top players and have known most of them for more than 2 years, i personally base “rank 1” blah blah blah on who is the most SKILLFUL jason right now etc. there is no ranked yet.
@desires66 do you mean the event that just happened? the top dog event. there was a leaderboard for placing 1st 2nd 3rd etc. it’s a gold/silver/bronze badge. with the number 1st 2nd 3rd on it that was a event based on how much XP you got during that event last week. that has nothing to do with someone’s skill.
tub is one of the best jason’s out there.. in the entire community. his tournament results are good… he has an insane amount of jason wins. and he beats top players consistently on jason. he is a top jason. lebron is a hard matchup for jason beleive it or not 😨
@@ChrisXtophershalf the roster is a bad match up for Jason. I too have a ton of wins against top players but I know what set up counters most oops 🤣🤣 if you rush in you’re setting yourself in for a punish due to his end lag. Gotta be smart and not dodge attack so much. Believe it or not 🙃
no where in the title or thumbnail does it say # 1 anyting, in the intro i say #1 lebron because i have the #1 wins on lebron since the game re released and have 35% of ALL TOTAL lebron wins since the game has re release
I'm a pretty active Jason player and sometimes I just saw things I would do different, but I get that in the moment it's difficult, plus overal Jason has difficult neutral to play
