Quick backseat as someone who actually enjoys fighting the (obviously much worse) Iron Giants I find on the ladder: You really can't be leaving any damage on the table. IG is heavy as hell so you need to stack that damage up. I noticed you're straight up charged up attacking him instead of doing charged forward attack into another jab and then the up attack. Gotta also make sure to get a side air in after the kick. IG is so big I doubt that that's gonna make you drop a combo.
Something i dont see anyone mentioning is him using the weakness application above 100 perk, i only noticed it when seeing the stacks go up with each neutral air lol that is actually crazy on ig where you're regularly gonna be living to high hundreds
you should try the hammer perk on morty vs the iron giant, it hit's him twice as much compared to other characters and helps a lot to build dmg. Oh and make sure to bait with the first 2 foward lights, so depending to if they took the bait you go for hammer of if they stay away you go for whip
maybe you can rematch him with tom and jerry ones you learned the charakter (if you dont want to main finn as 2nd) in my opinion good counter pick against iron giant(toast)
I think chance fought him 30 times before the nerf if I remember correctly iron giant neutral combo killed him at 50 also you can check the video to see chance’s level
@@coltkillergaming5685 make him slightly weaker, make him lighter so that he dies at 100-120, not 150-170 or 200. Take away his bolt shield and his shockwave pulse that interrupts combos. (This is Multiversus, not Mortal Kombat. He shouldn't be able to break out of a combo. Maybe make him smaller but maybe not. Boom balanced.
maybe just stay on the ground? u die mostly in the air lol. when u die mostly in the air then u should know ground is ur holy ground so avoid attacking in the air? no need fancy moves, just simple combo and dodge then running around for him to chase u and attack u first then samething dodge and combo until he can be killed with a special attack? this iron giant seems really good in the air, i guess u just dont attack in the air and just dodge to get back to the ground, that finn backpack spin in the air has too much delay after performing it.
What if he had an ability where when he jumps again after his last jump to glide down with jake. Also it would hit and kill at 90 for literally every character except iron giant. It’ll kill him at 140
Finn had the gem but the dumb devs took it away from him bc trash players kept crying about it. Imagine being that bad that you struggle against a Finn, a melee based character. Honestly, delete the game at that point and never touch a fighting game ever again.
I’ve never seen him use the high five…whys that? Is it super trashy? Thought it did a ton of damage? Same with his items…his perk ruins his ability to get coins
yea Finn vs ig has to be the worst matchup for the Finn none of his aerials have enough killpower and u literally can’t kill him from the ground unless he’s at 150 weakened and hit with a dash attack with 800 coins Finn literally can’t kill him 💀
Man i swear, you gotta stop doing the same stuff, thats how you keep getting killed. You roll towards him, he expects it and he dodges behind you and gets his jab off. Saw you do that like 5 times back to back lol. He does neutral air like crazy so just parry. All of his moves are hella slow. Iron giant struggles on the sides of the map. Get him down there and he cant do anything
Buddy whether you like it or not, he has skill, if he didn’t have skill then he would’ve lost lol. This guy is a very experienced Finn and a beginner iron giant would’ve lost to him no doubt
