I love the hair on you. Definitely Princess Merida vibe. I've similar hair texture and when i had my hair red i did get the same compliment. I love how confident and smiley you got after the hair is done. Wavy/curly hair is so much more work and sometimes we just want an easy and presentable look hence blowdry/iron.

Its perfect! I had curly extensions and loved them but i agree with you that every stylist isn’t knowledgeable and i love how she layered it , matched your hair texture and color… its perfect. Like its not choppy or anything theres no weird line of demarcation its perfect

I’m so curious what they do with the extensions when they are out? Can they rework or donate them? The final result is spectacular! What I wouldn’t give you have that luscious curly hair for even a day.

I really recommend using at home in shower color conditioner products to help fill the red pigment in your hair as it rinses out over time. It’ll help match the extensions much better and it’s semi permanent so you don’t have to worry about ruining the work your hair colorist has done on you.

I am interested to see how jaime will handle the extended styling time with the longer hair and how she things about it in the long run. Its the one thing that’s keeping me from going for natural curls for my long hair because I can’t stand the long and slow drying time for defined curls even with a blow dryer on low heat setting :/

Your stylist did an awesome job at getting you what you were looking for. Quality is there. Just an FYI, if you’re in a pinch, Amazon has a few sellers with extension lines that work pretty decent. I’m not sure how diy ish you are or what your where your hair skills lie but these are an option. My hair texture is very similar almost identical to the person in the video and I use these from Amazon after purchasing and professionally having some tape extensions from the hair shop installed. Love the hair shop but very expensive and after watching many videos on the Amazon version, I took the plunge and it’s doable. I’m satisfied and every once in awhile I’ll grab a few from the hair shop and install myself. I use keratin bond extensions and don’t regret!!!

You look so happy. I love it! Maybe you can dye your hair to match the more brown extensions. Instead of trying to get the extensions to hold the red color same as your natural hair.
