For encouragement. My 63 birthday today. I had an incurable (back then) sarcoma in my right thigh. I was 17. Yes 17. That's 46 years cancer free. I was given less then 5 years. I partied, spent money, you know, what a 17 year old would do. Then I noticed it was 6 years, then 7 years, then I thought "oh shit!". I pulled my life together, became a certified cancer nurse, had 3 fantastic children ( another thing the doctors said was impossible) and here I am. Old and wrinkled. God bless you. Use your youth to fight this. ❤

Hi Mike, I am a stranger here, your video popped up and I decided to watch. I was in your shoes when I was 25 ( diagnosed with breast cancer), and I lived 34 years cancer free. It just came back in different form in different place stage 4. But I am appreciative for the wonderful 34 years treatment free. Don’t give up hope. when I woke up one day from a raging headache I still went to work, felt like crap then got to the point where I couldn’t even stand. My boss sent me to the hospital and I was there from 7am-1030pm and that ONE doctor came in but with many other white coats to tell me I was young from an EXTREMELY rare bone disease that has no cure and no treatment and then just walked out. That was in 2017 and my tumor was the size of a quarter its 2024 and it’s now covering 86% of my skull. I understand fully what you went through and I am so sorry you had to go through this. I hope that you’re doing better now

Wow, what a wild ride you've been on. I'm on a similar ride myself. On May 17 of this year, I was driving my truck about 35 mph and blacked out for a couple of seconds, causing me to crash into a vehicle in front of me, totaling my truck. Was taken to ER where a CT scan showed that I had two masses in the right side of my brain. Surgery was done to remove them both, and pathology showed them to be malignant neuroendocrine cancer tumors that had metastasized from somewhere else in my body, i.e., stage 4. Had the wreck not happened, I would not have known, so wouldn't be under the treatment that I am now. And I could have been doing 80 mph down the interstate when it happened, which would have been a much worse outcome. So, I see the wreck as a blessing from God that saved my life. I pray for healing and better days ahead for you.

I’m in my 20s and it’s so easy to take good health for granted. Things like this really put things into perspective. Best of luck brother, you’re going to beat this

I can only imagine how terrifying and disorienting it must have been for you to experience such a sudden and alarming issue with your eye. It must have been incredibly challenging to go through that. It’s a journey, I’m cancer free today but I’ve bounced back and forth between positive for cancer and remission.14 mths ago diagnosed stage 3 rectal cancer, 2 mths of a trial lonsurf oral chemo and radiation, then 6mths of iv chemo and 2 surgeries. Hang in there and live each day a your last as this is true for everyone, not just cancer patients. God loves you and keep your faith. You are strong and we have good medical care these days.

He knows what it takes to bring us to the place he wants us to be, as a man of that brings honor to his name. I am happy for you that this cancer was diagnosed in its beginning stage. In all fairness to the doc that was so blunt in his delivery of such devastating news, in their training, they are discouraged from connecting with their patients on an empthetic level, either that, or he is just has no heart. That is possible, too. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and several of my friends. It's a devastating diagnosis. Let us give thanks for every day and love one another. When you speak about your experience - I can hear how intelligent you are. I am a nurse. I am so impressed. Hang in there. You are young and healthy and strong and can get through this. I truly believe.

I appreciate how articulate you are about your cancer ordeal. I have had cancer twice in my lifetime, but I am old enough to be your mother. I hate that someone your age has to go through this. At 35 I was sent home from the ER with kidneys failure TWICE in a week. I have potentially fatal TTP. A clotting disorder. Have had it again after my first transplant. I just turned 64. Have had this transplant 11 years. Had some 20 surgeries and a total of 11 years of dialysis in between the 2 transplants. Keep on keeping on. I know cancer is different but don’t let it stop you. Lean on your loved ones. I’m praying for your recovery. You are amazing!

I've had 3 cancers - thyroid, kidney and colon. I had a kidney transplant 6 years ago and have had some ups and downs since then. My left eye started bulging really bad 10 years ago and I had to get a biopsy and had other tests too. Turned that I have Thyroid Eye Diease and Graves Disease. I was put on huge amounts of steroids and had several surgeries. My right eye wasn't affected as much but my left eye will never be the same. My life was turned upside down. Stay as strong and positive as you can. Praying for you. 🙏❤️
