Brother, I've said it before and I'll say it again - The way you handled yourself after the DQ showed real character. It would have been so easy to pack up and leave, but you stayed around and supported us regardless. Next year will be our year and we'll do it together as a team

@@insertgenericusernamehere2402 It is just the Nordschleife-Permit he has to redo and he can do that with an online test, an e-Permit test. Won't take long, won't be tough, just needs to be done. Revoking the Nordschleife-Permit is more or less a harder slap on the wrist by the race officials without having to go to the sports court.....

Steve showed us what's it like to be a real teammate by sticking it out after that unfortunate circumstance and stayed there to support his team. I think this shows great class and character and we should all learn from this on how to handle ourselves when these situations arise. I was there as an Marshal just after RU-vid Corner in the Eiskurve. Our shift was from 00:00 till 08:00. Just when we drove at the Dottinger Hohe we saw the red flag. I decided to leave the NBR 24, because after the shift I had to head on to France for the Alpe D'Huez. Sad that I did not see 1 proper lap of racing. Hope to see you next year!
