I go to both resorts very equally and I’d have to say that the Disney magic for me mostly resides at the Disneyland Resort. But happy you’re finding it at WDW too. 😊
Although I live in the northeast (Maine), I've been a regular at WDW since 1973, when as a 12 year old, I became addicted to the place. Heck, I know the place so well, it's like my backyard. A DVC member since 2000 (home resorts are Boulder Ridge at Wilderness Lodge, and Beach Club Villas), I'm fortunate enough to be able to take 10 days each spring and fall for a recharge. Recently spent 8 days at DL (the week after Thanksgiving), and had a ball, but as you commented in the vid, WDW and DL are completely different animals, and that west coast visit has me all the more eager to get back to my home away from home, in May! I've planned my next WDW solo trip, starting March 5th, to sleep in daily and get to each park later in the day and stay until close. Even booking a few meals towards park close, to have an opportunity to just walk around after dinner and take in the vibes. Going to be my most unrushed and chill visit. So excited and I take a lot of this from your vlogs. Thanks so much.

Also living 15 min from DL, its hard to complain or compare without feeling ungrateful but WDW just has more, not better, just ALOT "more" and that variety is why its so much fun!! I have only been once and can not wait to get back.....hope y'all have a blast!

I can relate to this so hard! Disneyland and Disney World for me is just pure, unadulterated JOY. My spouse isn’t obsessed with the parks like I am, but he’s supportive, and loves to see me “Disney Happy”. ♥️
Man, I remember my first trip on the Peoplemover back in '96, I had to ask my mom when would we get to the ride, where my mom then responded with: "this is the ride". Oh how I now shake my head at 7 yr. old me. So young and naive. Cannot wait to make it back and Peoplemove. Stoked you're on that re-charge!!!
It is truly heartwarming to see a man such as Brickey not be ashamed to shed tears for such a glorious site that is the Castle and Fireworks. Dropping my spooky persona to say that I for a while prevented myself from getting emotional because I didn’t want those around me to see me as childish but the point of Disney World or Disneyland, it’s supposed to make the young feel Younger and the Old feel young! It’s supposed to bring that inner child out in all of us and look at Disney for the magic we all know and remember and not look at it as political as many do. Point of this, thank you Brickey for your compassion for the Disney Magic!

BEST VIDEO EVER! Omg, I could spend all day just in Tomorrowland. I feel fortunate also to have grown up with Disneyland, but Tomorrowland needs a lot of help. I miss People Mover but I loved Rocket Rods when they worked. It would be great if they were able to expand and have both of those attractions back. I love the energy you have in this video because that’s how I feel every time I get to go to the park. Would love to do WDW. You’re so lucky!

One of my absolute best “vibe” nights was watching fireworks from the People Mover - it was pure magic! Next best is riding it during an amazing sunset - at golden hour 🥰✨🏰❤️👏

I live in northern Indiana, born and rasied, tho I've lived in both FL and SoCal for short stints. Last year I went to WDW 2x for a week and DL/DCA 7 times. I'm going to DL/DCA as a Key holder for the first time this Saturday! I LOVE both resorts! I'll say that the local community is what makes DL/DCA for me. The community events, scavenger hunts, pin trading. DL feels like home where WDW is a vacation.

Hey Brickey! I love your videos because I feel the same way you do every time I'm at Disneyland or WDW. I love walking around the parks it gives me the feels just being there. I have so many happy memories being at Disneyland with my family, especially my Dad. He just loved it. For my Parents 50th Anniversary, my Mom wanted to take everyone on a cruise, but my Dad wanted to go to Disneyland, just my Mom, 2 Brothers, 2 Sisters and me, like when we were little. No Husbands, Wives, or Grand Kids. It was so much fun and I have great memories from that trip. Unfortunately, it was my Dad's last time at Disneyland before he passed a couple years later. Now I'm taking my Grand Kids and seeing their excitement is priceless. It's all about memories and feeling for me, so keep the videos coming!
During the pandemic, I believe that Brickey was able to get us through that with great fun and sobering views. I used to think out loud, mainly to my family in late 2020, that capturing Disneyland and Disney World would be the way to go to capture a larger audience and go to the next level. Not that it was an original idea by me, but it was some thing that I kept mentioning out loud I guess.

They should add some blue LED lighting on the sides of the TomorrowMover trains like they did with the monorail. Can you image how cool it would look and would add to the visual kinetic energy in Tomorrowland, and would compliment the new Tron attraction. Thoughts on this anyone?
