I am so enjoying getting absolutely perforated in this modpack. I've just got to the same "ahh sheeeit back to scamovich" part. This is what I've wanted since dead Air ❤
One is the loneliest number that you'll ever doooo. First and I must say, been looking at Radiophobia for some time. STALKER, a game that has you play all mods an iterations whilst those that provide it adhere to the atmosphere.
Agreed. I just there was a way to inject the stories from the original games into Anomaly/Gamma. I would love be able to play Clear Sky in the Gamma pack.
Ahhh yes the bandit laser guided/heatseeking handgrenades in shadow of chernobyl.. Surprised they haven't taken the CNPP with that high tech weaponry...
Clear Sky is the worst. The enemies spam grenades at you but your grenades only do damage if they land right at their feet. Same with underbarrel grenades too. So in Clear Sky grenades are useless. They are not even worth carrying. Just carry a lot of ammo if you want to play Clear Sky.
just imagine how different the game would be if they didnt scrap the car idea in soc. Also fun fact if i remember correctly in soc there is a btr that you can somewhat drive but im not sure
Surprised you made that trip all the way back to Sid. I would have just set up the first of many, many, many Stashes. ...I think, by the end of my SoC/Radiophobia runs, I usually have, like, 6 stashes all over the Zone.
Not sure how far you've gotten since you posted this, but if you still use the AN-94 add rpm_mode_2 = 1800 and cycle_down = true under rpm in gamedata\config\weapons\AR\w_abakan ltx. This will give it it's characteristic hyperburst property in burst mode and on the first two shots of full auto.
I decided to start a new game as monolith and I spawned in the outskirts so you know, I had to go over to pripyat, well the first thing I see as soon as I step foot outside the building I traveled to is a pseudo giant, and they can climb stairs
So, remember that note you picked up at the mill in Cordon where the bandits ambushed you for daring to take that piece of paper? Well, make sure to do that questline BEFORE you disable the brain scorcher because if you don't, you'll miss out on a storyline. Yes, I'm speaking from experience. I missed out on Alan's arc because of this. Btw, I kinda played through this mod and man, some quests got bugged for me. It's really annoying. So I did everything I could do. Overall, an interesting mod but I wouldn't recommend it to others, maybe only if they really wanted to play another stalker mod. Anomaly is king because of all of its addons. OGSE/OGSR is second, Lost Alpha third, Priboi Story is pretty good too and Oblivion Lost Remake is an honorable mention because it restores the original cut storyline of Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl (it used to be called Stalker: Oblivion Lost but the name was changed at the request of THQ. Oh, there is a mod called Oblivion Lost but that one sucks, play Oblivion Lost Remake instead.) I hope you read my long comment Wavey! If you did, thanks for reading!
I disagree, this mod pack is awesome. Saying anomaly is king is hilarious considering anomaly has fuck all to do in terms of story, 0 voiced storylines, there's nothing remotely stalker about anomaly and the second you claimed its the best is when I stopped reading your post. Anyone who thinks anomaly is the best is high as fuck.
Can I get your opinion on the best STALKER modpacks? I gave Gamma a try, but after pulling an all nighter and spending 15+ hours grinding a Mercenary playthrough only for the save file to bugout after minimal progress, I'm burned out with the grind and just put off from going through the whole ordeal again killing the replay ability factor of the modpack for me. I absolutely loved the health management and crafting of Gamma, it's my favorite. It's just... I'm a bit burned out when it comes to having grind to the point of having migraines.
GAMMA, Escape From Pripyat, and Dark Signal. Those are the big three that are available for Anomaly right now. They're each different in their own right, and I have my own personal biases. I personally like the Dark Signal the best. It keeps it closer to vanilla Anomaly, while face-lifting everything.
@@WaveysGamingAdventure Thanks! I'll check out Dark Signal, since I'm kinda tired of spending hours on end to get out of the early game in the other packs.
@@SilliestGoober999 Once you know what you're doing it really doesn't take that long to progress. You're really only limited by luck with finding basic/advanced/expert tools in stashes, but even that doesn't take long.
I dont believe Stalker 2 will be as good as this. Modders since Anomaly was made changed this game completly without ruining old school gemaplay. Everything in in the place everything works and feeling is just on another level. There is no post apo game better than good old but renewed stalker.
I won't be streaming this at the moment. But there's a TON of things in the game (I'm learning as I go) that I simply don't know what is going on. So after I complete the main story, I am thinking of streaming this and completing some of the things I have left.
Radiophobia? Isn't that the mod that was released in three versions but each of them stopped at beta version? Or one wasn't even released? It reminds me AMK Autumn edition, my go-to mod for STALKER ShoC. And maybe Memories of the Zone too... Sid might have bad prices and nothing in the store until you do some tasks for him and maybe other stalkers? And for some reason Sid took your flashlight when you gave him artifact in the first minutes of the game, along with the container and detector. edit - didn't knew it adds new tasks, installing now
It's effectively still in beta (I guess), but yeah I'm pretty sure you're right. Certaintly adds a lot though, I wish I knew more but the info on it is pretty light
After downloading the original 1.07 beta, I opened the download with 7Zip, and extracted everything to a folder on my SSD. That was it, after that double left mouse click on Radiophobia 3 launcher
When are you going to pick up the Seeker’s storyline? There’s a load of stashed loot available through that plot. A particular Garbage one should make you happy.
@@WaveysGamingAdventure Well up to Yantar there’s two bodies on each level after that I’m hazy on it . They’re occasionally in weird remote places sometimes right under your nose as highlighted by you going right past on in the Cordon. Have fun looking. Ps make sure you have a bottle of water when you cross over into the bar area.
Is it just me or we do have different perception about "stealing" word and "raiding" word? Because from your video it's clear you just raiding + destroying the military base! 😆 My question why not try to disguise yourself as a military faction then steal the document without alerting anybody? 🤔
