I GOT INTO NURSING SCHOOL! | GPA, HESI A2 Score, Grades, ADN Program 

im happy to find a nursing student who have kids and life things going on. i have 4 kids and im 30 and i just applied to the nursing program. Im praying i get in but if not i will continue to be hopeful and keep applying. And stay prayed up. congrats and blessings on your journey

Congratulations on getting into nursing school! I am also a mother of two, and I think it's fantastic you have chosen to go into nursing even having a family. The CC I attend also had 9 prereqs, and a GPA of 3.0 for acceptance into the program. We have a two-year program, and we sit for our LPN boards in-between so we can get experience working as a nurse while in the ADN year. I just sat for my boards last week and I passed with the minimum. It's so challenging being a mother in nursing school, but I also think it helped me a ton having so much life experience and having experience with my kids! You are going to do amazing things, and I can't wait to watch your journey!

I am 24 years old with a 5 year old and a 2 year old, going for my ADN in community college! I'm currently about to finish up my first semester of pre-requisites that included A&P 1, A&P 2, College Math, & Psychology!
