RU-vid paid me so let's talk about it! For two years I've been filming my thrift adventures at yard sales and thrift stores and now I'm getting some side money and showing you how.
I get a vicarious thrill from the POV footage of you sorting through stuff at yard sales and then getting a good 'bundle' deal on everything. Rooting for you and your channel (and your new family). Keep up the great work!
Really enjoy the channel and this video in particular! I'm new in the last few months to RU-vid and really enjoying the learning process. You have been a real encouragement to me so keep it up! Thanks
That is awesome, you made $215 on your 1st check. All that hard work paid off, is how I would feel. Great job! You are right it takes time to get to that point and I am working hard to move my channel in that direction.
Great work dude! Coming from an ex-Thrift RU-vidr myself, the sky is the limit! I know one day I'll get back into it but the editing and recording is dedication and another level of grinding! Keep it up!
The "backstage at the bins" video is where I found your channel and subscribed. Great info on monetization, and what it really looks like with regard to breakdown of earnings per click. Very informative, thanks so much for sharing!
@tycetycebaby I've sent some out-of-state friends from around the US your way as well. As they travel for their jobs, we all were chatting and trying to find good thrifts for them to check out while on the road. I told them about your "best thrift stores" series and they found the info useful! 😊
Congratulations on getting monetized and getting your first RU-vid check, I’m closing in on that goal myself. Just subbed & staying for the thrift content - cheers
Hey Tyson! You are my favourite thrifter. Love that you are real and genuine. Always look forward to your videos. I got to get your hat size so that I can send a Toronto Blue Jays hat your way! :)
I forget when I first found the channel. But the name is great (as I’m wearing a vanilla ice Tmnt t shirt right now lol). Someone who is a much better RU-vidr told me the best way to get shorts to convert to long form is to make your shorts allude to something that’s in one of your long form videos. So like have a tag that says something like “check out “X” video to see what we got”. Good job look forward to seeing more. Maybe I’ll be up there with you eventually ❤
Hey brother! This is Will over here in Western Kentucky. Hey buddy, stick to your guns and keep on trucking! You got a lot of great videos I've watched and think you've done a great job at what you do! 👍👊🍀
New subscriber. This is the best re-seller channel I’ve come across in a long time. Keep going. This channel should have way more subscribers but after two years I just now found you. Have you reached out to some re-seller podcasts to get the word out? I think it’s amazing Goodwill has allowed you to interview/film behind the scenes. Keep up the good work!
So nice of you to say 🙏🏻 Going on podcasts is a good idea! I’m surprised Goodwill gave me those tours also. They were very accommodating despite their controversial history. Thanks for coming along with me!
Some people I unsubscribe from because they over do it with the daily videos. They need to learn quality, not quantity. Like Lavender Clothesline, she does one a week, it's longer, informative, entertaining, and enjoyable. I'm tired of those "I made this much money on ebay" - "Sold this, listed that". Old saying, Those who can - do. Those who can't - teach. Too many wanna be doers on the tube.
Dang, that can be tricky. You might want to try making a couple shorts out of the long form video that did so well for you, to get more subs. Once you hit 1,000 you’ll at least make some money on that long-form video’s views going forward.
Great job on your videos! Very well edited. Your personality really comes through. I like all the info about the process... quite interesting! Just subbed today.
