Is it bad that I’m comforted by these comments? lol I thought I was the only one treated like I had a plague! I just stick to buying online and nevvvver return anything. Which kinda sucks but I guess it’s better to have foundations I can’t use than to be treated like poo.

I would have loved to see how the foundation looked in natural light! But she did such a good job, I don’t even think you needed to check if it also matched in natural light. You look beautiful! I hope you’re having a good day ☺️

I feel like such a fool I’ve been driving over 10 miles to get to Sephora because I thought the ones in Penny’s only had a small section with no one to assist you 🤦🏽‍♀️ now I only have to drive 1.5 miles to get there thanks to you lol, this helped me in a way I definitely wasn’t expecting it to.

mizzmama79 I would say that they do have a smaller collection overall BUT they carry a lot of the name brands. The closest actual Sephora store is almost 2 hours away; I was over the moon happy for the one in my Pennys.

I went and got this done recently and it was an amazing experience. Luckily, my associate was extremely patient and helpful in finding my foundation and lip color. I am sorry to the people who had a bad experience with a sales associate. They need to find a new job if they feel too inconvenienced to help customers!

I went to get my shade matched at Sephora and they gave me the shades I was looking for in certain brands but then I went the next day and they gave completely different shade ranges 👀👀👀 I’m like what lol NoI sure what to trust anymore tbh every time I get told different shades so what I do know is try it on myself and see what works.

I went to the JC Penney Sephora in Northshore mall two years ago. The girl color matched me wrong, and sold me a Sephora powder foundation, that ended up oxidizing, even though I told her my skin was extremely dry. I feel like whenever I go there, the employees are really inconvenienced. Like they just want to talk to each other. So since north shore mall has a separate Sephora as well, I just go there.

I went into my JCP sephora yesterday hoping to get a mini make over and color matched as you did. I wanted them to use the cool little machine like they did on you but nope. all she did was swatch a color on my forehead and try out some concealer on my left eye and sent me on my marry way. It would have been nice to have gotten color matched and had options. I was disappointed to say the least.

Ive seen so many youtubers do this 😍 I need it in my life lol. How much does this cost to do? Also, is there any advice you can give at picking out a good setting powder for your skin type? I love using airspun for the finish but I just feel like that can appear casty on my skin type. Honestly, can you do a video on how to choose makeup in general? (Like, everything from primer to setting spray)

Teesha Janelle The mini makeover in Sephora is actually free to all VIB customers :) as for a powder for your face: a lot of powders say they are translucent but they actually have a peachy color that can come off gray on darker skin tones. I would suggest either finding a powder closer to your skin tone (Laura Mercier has a great one for higher end and Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder has an excellent range as well at the drugstore). I hope this helps!

Wao!! So different from My Sephora location (only one in PR 🇵🇷) Love how she explains everything. In My location she only took the 3 pictures took the fenty foundation apply and was like yes this one and done didn’t even bother to set it up or give me options. And did not carry the brands I was exited to try ( Huda beauty) ( Beauty Blender Foundation) and I had to travel 2 hrs 1/2 to get there 🤦🏽‍♀️

Amanda Hirschfeld There’s a Sephora inside JC Penney at the Mall of NH in Manch, I’d suggest trying there instead. I find the staff in the JC Penney locations to be really friendly.
