I understood why she was crying, it’s a scary experience like so many others. I cried in the dentist when I found out I had cavities in my wisdom teeth, three cavities, and developing a root canal all at once. I got most of them taken care of but now I’m gonna have my wisdom teeth out before summer ends

i'm 16 and idk if i'll ever have to get mine out but i'm hoping not. my older sister got hers out at 18. haha probably the worst part of it all is the pain and telling your parents everything you know that they don't

I was worried about that too but If you tell yourself over and over again that you don't want to talk about something you won't That worked for me at least

They don't give you laughing gas Laughing gas is nitrous oxide

i just got mine out last friday and my experience has been O_O- not great it pretty much exactly mirrors caroline’s i was SO surprised bc her swelling and pain has been exactly like mine BUT it’s not that scary!! when you are out of it you might not remember what you said after but in the moment when it’s all happening you are still in control? i was super emotional but i was i control- and i had no filter but i was still in control! i was super worried i would swear when i was under but there’s a video of me talking about how i was worried i would swear but i didn’t want to swear so i wouldn’t! basically i probably wouldn’t have told everybody that i was scared to swear in normal life but it didn’t change what i did or didn’t want to do!! i didn’t release any secrets and you don’t get dumb afterwards haha if that makes sense! people tried to convince me that there was a zombie in the road but i just cried a ton and basically just sobbed about how i was loopy but not stupid! sorry that this is long! basically- yes you might say weird and/or stupid things but it’s just you with strong emotion and no filter if it makes sense 💗💗 don’t be too worried!! just maybe have your phone taken away because i sent lots of people videos of me crying and telling them i loved them it is something i just have to accept bahaha😭😭

@BACON NATION does it really matter that much? Everyone I know calls it laughing gas cause a lot of times it makes people all giggly when the get up.

Imagine having to get both jaw surgery AND wisdom teeth taken out😀

I might get jaw surgery but knowing that it's gonna be like 50x worse than wisdom teeth makes me not really wanna do it

to reduce swelling, drink a 64 ounce of pineapple juice the night before your surgery! and follows the after care!

I got mine out in december! Keep your head elevated when sleeping (to prevent feeling lightheaded), keep up with irrigation and rinsing with salt water, and ice ice ice ice ice it. Don't plan anything, just keep the few days after open. You will feel exhausted and bored, but I was in far too much pain to be doing anything else. Oh, and wake up in the middle of the night to take pain meds (either the prescription or advil/tylenol), you will be in a world of hurt if you miss a dose.
