when i was growing up watching Ricky Lake, she looked so much older and seemed so mature. Now looking back at this now i realize she looked so young and just carried herself in such a mature way. The 90s era was weird but much more respectable

Hi. I was on an episode of The Ricki lake show between 94-96 I believe. I was very young so it’s hard to remember. The episode was titled something along the lines of “you changed/saved my life, and now I want to pay you back/and I have a surprise for you. I know this is a vague description but I have searched the internet and cannot find it. If you have access to episodes then maybe you can help. A brief synopsis of the episode is that my stepmom wanted to thank my biological dad for being amazing to her by bringing me (male) and sister to the show to meet him for the first time in our lives. Another guest was in a car accident and her car caught fire and as she was burning someone reached in and pulled her out and saved her life and she wanted to thank him personally. Thank you in advance if you can help at all!

Like I told my daughter years ago, that having a baby won't keep a man. Men leave all the time. Just like my dad did (I was the 3rd child). Not that all men are dogs but women shouldn't have children unless they can be the sole provider. I'm glad my daughter, even though she made some bad decisions on the men in her life, but she works 2-3 jobs to take care of her three children. They are 17, 15 and 14 but they aren't out there committing crimes like some teens are doing.

All I’m seeing in this episode is low self esteem and women with low self esteem creating broken families, without a fathers presence involved

I feel so sorry for these kids! My son was planned and my husband left me and my son when he was 6 months old cause he cheated with the barmaid! My son suffered his whole life of feeling abandoned and is still hurts him and he's so angry!!

My friend does this. Every man she has been with she has told them she is on birth control and then takes pills to get pregnant to "trap" them. She is on her 6th child now and isnt with any of their dads and has none of her 5 other kids. The dads end up with the kids and she just moves on to the next man then has another baby. Its insane. She is 31 and is still doing this. This baby she is pregnant with now she said she got pregnant because the guy she was with had a baby already with someone else and she didnt like the other baby mama so she got pregnant to show the other woman shes not the only baby mama now and isnt in control. The guy found out she is pregnant and left her. Now hes saying hes taking the baby when its born. And sadly he probably will and she will move on and have another baby.

I know a girl who was just as delulu as vicki. She got a guy Initial tatted on her, claiming him as her boyfriend when the only time she’d see him was when we went to the club in his city(we stayed about 30-40 mins) . we’d get a room to have to drive back home until the morning. he come have sex with her, then leave. Never came to our city to see her. no dates. Never helped her if needing something. She was big slow and like vickie, you couldn’t tell her anything.
