It is TRAUMATIZING for a child to be in a family home where the mom and dad _hate_ each other, even if they try to hide it. Kids can TELL. And, you're teaching your CHILDREN that _this is what love and marriage is?!??_ Ridiculous. I'd rather my parents be separated and happy, flourishing...than to be in an atmosphere of tension, anger, silence, neglect, lack of any emotional connection. I'm 43 and I'm still in therapy undoing the damage my parents did by staying together 😢

I divorced my husband we never went to court, always co-parenting peacefully, my son never witnessed a fight between us. To this day we have remained civil and friendly with each other . I have his back and he has mine, no romance whatsoever I still visit him, his wife, new baby and my in-laws and we get on great. He was meant to be my friend, not my husband I guess. It’s awful that it’s taken so long for people to recognise the seriousness of DV against men. Yes people did laugh it off. And when you think of the difference between male and female self-unaliving to attempt to use YT language, although we know how much harder it can be for men to talk about their problems, I feel haunted when I wonder how many of them were trapped in an abusive marriage or even bumped off by a wife in the days before DNA? When police probably fell for women who could easily appear vulnerable? In fairness a couple of the guys were behaving really badly too, where the women were underplaying how much fear they were feeling for their family and friends (like the guy who threatened to kill the woman’s pastor,) and that was sort of laughed off too. It’s quite triggering (in the literal sense, as in PTSD/CPTSD,) to remind ourselves what living through those times was actually like and the sexism that went both ways - as well as the assumptions, distasteful jokes and narrow mindedness depending on where and how you grew up. I must admit my stomach is in knots after watching this one, the seriousness of what was going on in all the cases on the stage would be considered too dangerous to televise now - they all need to run! I just hope they all broke up after this aired 🙏🏼🙏🏼 It doesn’t take long for this kind of behaviour to escalate to potentially fatal proportions every time a new boundary is broken.

i am happy to be a stay at home mom. for me it’s a beautiful life and fulfilling. i’m certainly not a doormat. the only time i ever felt like a doormat was when i was working for a toxic manager who was ungrateful and very unkind to us working for her. women need to reframe their mindset and try not to make sweeping judgements about one another. i’m glad that you’re happy to have had a career but i’m also happy to be doing what i do. in absence of a career i am still valuable and intelligent.

Some stay at home moms love to claim they want to stay home because “it’s better for their children”. But the first thing that came out of her mouth when Ricky asked her why not get a divorce was “ I don’t wanna work” not because “if we do separate I would have to leave my kids because then I would have to get a job” 😂😂 don’t let them fool you. Some actually don’t mind working when the kids get older but once their kids are school age and they still don’t wanna work it’s because they’re LAZY lol 😂😂 can’t convince me otherwise

This is soooo 90’s 😂 I love it 90s baby!! Also you can tell that Rex is a good guy, his heart is in the kind of right place and he’s obviously being very honest and blunt. Her on the other hand is so.. nvm I’ll keep that to myself. Her character is just not great at all… I hope she changed, likely so. I myself was a nightmare of a person in my 20s thankfully I didn’t have kids or marry in that mindset lol. Also, Dude keeps a machete under the bed and sharpens every week?? Threatens people with it? Like what??? How is everyone calm?

Going through this right now with a man I have been with for 10yrs but thankfully we are not married we just have a kid together and every time I want to leave he asks her to pick a parent and tells her that I am breaking up the family. He is mentally draining to everyone and is always starting fights in front of our kiddo I tell him I don’t want to do this in front of her but he always says she’s part of this family too and needs to see us fight. She is 6 and it frustrates me that he dosnt care. Iv tried locking myself in rooms to stop the fighting but he has removed the locks.
