A real civil engineer is taking on his Discord server in the Poly Bridge 2 RCE September Building Contest! Each month on my Discord server there are Poly Bridge 2 challenges where you get a chance to take on me, a real civil engineer, to see who can build the best bridge! Claerys I apologise for such a mistake. Sometimes you let yourself get dragged by your emotions and you don’t pay attention to what you write. I love how genuine you seem to be. You're not on an ego trip, I don't think you're even trying to win, you make these competitions to have fun, to have other people have fun, and make your viewers have fun watching the results. "Friendly Civil Engineer" would describe you well.

Not sure of you know but the slider next to the fill button let's you choose the length between nodes. It's made making nice bridges much much easier. I mainly use it for the framework of arches that connect to the road.

Been doing a marathon on your Poly Bridge content the last couple of days; good stuff thanks:) I'd really like to see what you'd make of one of the older building games "Armadillo Run" lots of materials etc to play with for creative solutions. The Crazy Machines series might be worth a look for you too. Just some suggestions if you're looking for future content.

Exactly. The pinnacle example of this is the Rick roll bridge. Y'see if you pay close attention, you'll notice the words are actually densely packed roads high up in the sky. And what kind of things are usually densely packed and in the sky? Airline peanuts. And black holes. Black holes are too. By achieving this similarity, the roads cause a powerful pull on the car, giving it that extra little bit of energy as it launches. For you see, the similarity was so strong, the car mistook the road blob for the salty snack of the skies and flung itself bodily in an attempt to procure the treats for their own. However the car is unaware that it is a fool to it's own hunger and that it's actually preying upon an apex predator in clever disguise. In the end the car makes the jump only to find it's prized possession to in fact be a huge block of cement which promptly collapses into a black hole that rapidly consumes the fabric of its fragile reality; killing RCE's computer. Also Rick Astley or something. Thank you for coming to my T.E.D talk. I'll be here all week folks.

You should do the Jennings Randolph bridge from West Virginia.. its the longest simple Truss bridge in North America. And since we are talking about WV, you should recreate the Silver Gate Bridge collapse that happened in Point Pleasant back in the 60's.

I heard you say at some point that you mostly work on drainage, and there aren't any drainage games. I don't know if I exactly understand what you do with drainage, but there are plently of liquid moving games where you have to draw and transport liquid into a container or something.

I think you were right, the discord did make more interesting solutions for the funny one, but the rick rolling and the dongs fit the objective of being funny far better. The winners and ones you showed were far better at being ingenious and impressive than actually being funny. :)
