Seriously though, stay away from Copart if you possibly can. I don't have an IAAI near me unfortunately but I'm almost ready to quit using Copart completely

Alot of times might have to use a cheater bar also. Then go from there. Just helping with advice, I always start small basics before building into bigger things. Another note not bad in my opinion, cause you got 2 great matching ones & one has a title bro. Where ever this goes, pull all the parts needed from 1st one to the other, then sell what ya don't need! Try turning ignition on for 10 mins then off for 10 seconds then try to crank it. I'm in my second h3. Got 207,000 miles out my first one but both have had same issue with security locking it up from time to time. GM will not issue recall. Sometimes it'll turn over not crank sometimes won't even turn over. But after doing reset process it has always cranked every time.

I had the timing chain come apart and lock up on 2011 gmc canyon with the 3.7. Probably around the 150,000 km mark. I changed the engine out with one from the salvage they are pretty easy to change out

Is the belt off the engine yet? Always take that off and make sure a compressor or alternator isn’t locked up first before condemning the engine. I’ve had many cars come in that wouldn’t turn over cause an accessory was locked. Always worth a try.

I had the starter lock up one time and at first made me think the engine was because it wouldn’t turn by the crank just a tip 🤣

I bought one a few years back.The build quality was actually nice the engine would flicker the low oil pressure light but it ran nice.I sold it and moved on.

it was promising for a little bit then seeing the bottle of oil treatmeant.. sometimes the starter is stuck in the flywheel and causes it not to spin too..

I was looking when the dip stick got close to the positive cable .it was about fire up😂😂😂

Can you get the Vin swapped?

I used to work at Copart, yard 27 in MA in the Mendon location, they call the south Boston location, Copart is the biggest scam ever they charge you an extra fee without telling you, a small thing that you can't imagine, they you barely test the car and even, for example like this Hummer 3 on the description for purchase will say that drives and runs perfectly, most the time 95 percent of that cars that end up at Copart is just junk and they sell as semi used vehicle, but you will be just wasting your money.

Since they are the same and the worse one has a title you could do a slightly sketchy thing and swap vin plates

My trunk won't lock and my doors won't unlock with the fob other that the driver side

do a body swap or check the laws not sure if they have changed or not in pa you could swap the vin if you did it with 35% of the firewall but do check that was 20yrs ago. but if it was me i would just body swap if it can be done on a hummer. Thanks for sharing

Do they make you title and plate it on site? Those fees are crazy. Sucks you got burned. I have a Copart about 2 miles from me. I can only buy the clear title ones though.

What did you pay for it? Hopefully the pb blaster works. Drain the oil and look for metal bits.

You don't have a title for the good one , take the door off of the bag one , and put it on the good one ,, and boom the VIN numbers match the title..... LOL

Take the fan belt off . I personally bought maybe 10 to 15 cars in last 10 years people claimed had bad engines and it was a seized altenator or something dumb

co part loves the fees and yeah I bought a 200 dollar car and paid 600 in fees and the timing belt was broken and the whole car was pretty shit
