Hello female solo traveller here . I am so excited to share that I'll be visiting Pakistan next month! From everything I've heard, it sounds like a stunning country with a relaxed vibe and welcoming people. I can't wait to experience it all firsthand and share my journey through videos on this channel. Love from the USA PS: support me before I get there
Hi, I have been seeing your comment. Welcome to Pakistan. Just a piece of advice .. find some trustworthy local. I think guy called Ali has facilitated many you tubers, I am advising you because not everyone can have the same experience. Don’t allow people to get selfies with you as you will find trillions of request. Avoid going out in night alone unless you are sure. Best of luck for visit.
Well come in our beautiful country don't trust people with out knowing each everything about him Good and bad people are everywhere in the world,so visit Pakistan with positive frame of mind
Oh my God. What a great talent you have. Your video shooting quality is not less than BBC or Nat geo. And you are so brave, i being a man of 39 couldn't imagine going on that trek but you did a fantastic job and your decision power is amazing. You are more important than K2 😂
It really takes courage and a lot of character to sum up a tour with all the positives instead of crying about the things we couldn't do. Your take on the gain from your tour was simply impressive. And the concluding note about the porters really showed how humble and considerate you are as a human being that you liked to give people their deserving share in your amazing story, cheers 🎉
Always get excited when I see a new thumbnail of your video pop up and I set everything aside before starting the video so I am not disturbed during. The quality of your videos is nothing like I have seen from majority of the travel youtubers, and i have been following many since almost major part of the decade now. The way you tell the story, the music, typography, color grading, framing and the pauses, everything is perfect.
Amazing!!! I'm very proud of you Flora! This video shows how challenging this trek is, I love how honest you were not just with yourself but with you audience. Kudos to you!
That was a great video Flora! It's really nice to view nature up close and appreciate it in this day and age when everyone is busy with their lives. Also, appreciate those hard working men who work tirelessly on the mountains. Waiting for more of your uploads eagerly. Bon voyage!
Irrespective of whether we see the K2 or GGLA, your videos are fulfilling ones. Your experiences and exploring yourself throughout the journey gives a good lived experience for people like us. Thanks for covering the beautiful journey, there's so much to reflect upon.
You have no idea how much your journey is inspiring me to overcome my fear of hiking and heights. My first experience of hiking was not so great but am always open for learning new things and now i am going to another hiking in the near future. I hope i can complete that hiking. Wish me luck Flora.
Een geweldig verhaal om te volgen met fantastische beelden, maar het állermooist vond ik jouw eerbetoon op het laatst aan de prachtige karakteristieke sherpas💯❤❤
So sorry you didn’t get to finish your K2 Basecamp journey but your health is most important for all of your future adventures. I hope you have recovered well!
Flora you are such a brave lady and I mean it. I have seen all of your vidoes and always found you on a high spirit and motivated. We loved your world's toughest k2 Trek. I also want do this trek but i know i cannot. I am not a physically and mentally strong as you. I wish i could do half of this trek. You stay strong, take care of your health and enjoy the life.
This journey is like watching a movie. I know it's not an easy job to film during such a tough journey, hats off to you 👏 i hope you will get there next time.
Greetings from Pakistan. Wow! that was extremely emotional. Use of beautiful words and well crafted sentences has always been your forte but this trip and vlog was something out of this world. So original, so genuine and so natural. Loved every minute of it. Just a great piece of learning for all. It is in the most difficult of situations that we actually learn a lot. I am sure after completing this epic trip or adventure you yourself would have felt that it was a great learning experience. For us, it was another amazing vlog by yourself. May God the Almighty grant you success in everything that you. Best wishes for the channel. With warm regards
What an incredible video with such a beautiful lesson about confronting one's own humanity in the face of incredible challenges unforseen. Bravo to you for braving through such incredible conditions with such grace, humility, and kindness to all those around you while at the same time underscoring the incredible fortitude and uplifting of the human spirit by the amazing team around you. Truly inspiring! Thank you for sharing! 😀
Happy to see the second video of your journey. You are powerful and did your best in this challenging expedition. Let me tell you, this is not at all easy. In the first part of your journey, you said that the K-2 base camp journey is easier the Everest till that point. But I personally feel that the K-2 base camp journey is the toughest in the world. Because it's natural and unpredictable all the way. Base camp is one part, but climbing K-2 is surely life-threatening as well.
Love the whole journey your dedication and your spirit. ❤ A very very much thank you for showing the beauty of our country. I hope one day you will see the world sitting at the top of the Mount Godwin Austen K2 ·🤞
I've been following you for quite some time now, Flora, I love watching your content and this was by far my favourite video of yours....the only problem is it ended tooo soon...you conveyed your feelings and emotions so beautifully and all the frames were worth rewinding again. You're SO warm and strong and as a Pakistani the way you have shown our country means a lot! Thank you for bringing your beautiful soul to our country. Ps I really hope you're feeling amazing now!! (after all the puking......)
Wow magnificent creations of our Almighty God Father Jehovah wonderful awe-inspiring beauty of nature well done Flora and to all caring and lovely porters keep safe and take good care , we will visiting Pakistan very soon😊
I am again impressed with your video. first of all, I'm sorry about your health, but on the other hand, I'm glad and I really appreciate that you made this video despite your health condition. and why am I happy? because the internet is full of videos of how easy everything is, how every RU-vidr has done everything easily, and then people think that anyone can complete such treks, without any respect for nature and all the pitfalls. take care and looking for your next video. btw: probably clacier water problem, next time try use Grayl watter bottle for filtering water
Ah mate , sorry you didn’t complete your trek. But at least you got further than I did! I got food poisoning (or water poisoning, I don’t really know either) too but it was at literally the first campsite after askoli… Remember being put on a donkey to go back and feeling bad on the donkey and walking instead … then spending like 10 days waiting in a hotel in Skardu while the rest of my party got to basecamp and back. Very lame.
Oh no! I’m so sorry, that sucks 😔 I actually hear it’s quite common on the K2 trail… Anyway, I hope someday you’ll get another chance to experience it 🙏
@@floragonning yeah sometime soon! could relate to how you must have been feeling on the way down. always lame knowing the rest of your crew is carrying on. hope you also get an opportunity to finish what you started
I love your cinematography! Do you color grade your videos, or is it the color science from your Lumix/Sigma lens? I'll be doing the Salkantay Trek and Misti Volcano hike in Peru soon, and your video is very inspiring, especially because you show all the challenges along the way!
good job at least you saw some of K2 in person that person like me never hopefully someday because being Pakistani it will be shame i did not saw that mountain personally
Amazing vlog as usual ❤ i really really admire your strong will 💪 keep it up always ❤😊 porters are definitely unsung heroes! ❤ P.S. btw who is that girl in yellow jacket? you showed her many times but didn't introduce her like others 🤔
Hi Flora i saw your all videos and recently i visit hunza karimabad and seen you setting next to me that was the fan moment but i didnt disturb you because you are waiting for your dinner to come at that restaurant......
For an ideal acclimatization secondly you should compare the old values with the acclimatization according to 11.4 on the statistical table and other things are necessary. For example to acclimatize to 4500 m you should stay 4.5 * 11.4 = 51.3 days. Without a good acclimatization you risk hypoxia, and in the most serious cases loss of consciousness and consequent death if you are not brought back a quote more accepted by your organism.
