That could have been AP, Assets Protection aka Security. they have some dressed in plain clothes. Although most of the time they tend to stay at a far distance and peek around the corners. Often times they stand in the other side of the aisle trying to hear what you're doing. If it was, he or someone else spotted you lifting up that bottom shelf, thought you were doing something you shouldn't so they started to follow you. you pulled up the camera, if it was AP, then they don't want their face caught on cam, cuz it could be put online and everyone who shoplifts will know who to look out for. But if it was a stalker, yikes.

im usually aware of AP, when I worked at a target my friend was that girl, this guy was a little dirty and the way he was acting Im not sure hes AP but he could have been. it was weird enough to make my wife uncomfortable. thats when my defenses went up.

Loss prevention at a lot of these stores will have plain clothes people that they will send to watch certain people in the store thar somebody thinks is sus on the cameras. Happens all the time. I went into our Ollie's because they got in the Hasbro Slimed Ghostbuster figures...only to find out a guy came in and bought the entire shipment ..none of them made it to the shelf, he cut the plastic off the pallet and threw the cases in his cart 😡🤬
