Quick note, I bought this and it is huge. So big that I got concerned it may not be allowed on domestic flights without an additional charge. Turns out the total size allowed domestically is 62 inches and this is bag is exactly 62 inches. Whew. Almost sent it back.
Hi!! I'm going On a 6 month long trip and I also have a large suitcase. By 62" do you mean all the measurements added together? I'm really a novice to long term travel😬 I was thinking the weight would matter more then the size, but I could be wrong Any information would be great for my 6 month travel☆☆☆
This is so amazing I miss the sounds of packing for vacation this suitcase looks amazing I could fit everything I own or it love the colour and the zippers sounds nice and strong
i am moving from missouri to tennessee to be with my fiance and im excited after an ldr it so worth it ...... im taking everything on the plane i needed an extra large suitcase and im so grateful i ran into ur video so thank u
It should be! I wonder if they discontinued it....hm, I’ll check it out. I know that they were working on remodeling their coupon portal, I wonder if that had something to do with it.
For the carry-on plus, I was able to bring two puffy jackets (one that goes to the mid-thigh and one regular) for a trip to Alaska! For the large check-in I feel like you could bring multiples!
Hi very informative video* It just doesn't seem that big to me- the specs are: 30 X 21 X 11 The suitcase I have at home, a different brand is: 33"T 18"W 11"depth So similar I was wondering because I'm going on a 6month long trip and didn't know if my current suitcase is too big 😬 I think the fees come in, when it's too heavy, rather than too big. Or am I wrong? Any information would be greatly appreciated! I always have a habit of overpacking, but I also need enough things for 6 months!
Wow! 6 months?! That's awesome! I hope you have a blast. I think you may be right in terms of weight being a cause for extra fees but I also think that airlines (from what I've seen) can charge extra for suitcases that are "oversized" ie. a surfboard would be one of those oversized items. So I'm not too sure if you will need a different, slightly smaller suitcase than the one you have but your best bet would be to check with the airline regulations of the airline you will be flying within those six months! I really hope that helps!!
The suitcase you have at home is actually SMALLER than this one. At least in terms of volume (6930 cubic in. vs 6534 Cubic in.). For international travel generally the smallest maximum size you can bring is 62 linear inches (see they don't use volume for this and some airlines allow slightly larger than others) and in linear inches both your suitcase and this suitcase add up to 62 linear inches. There are extra charges for weight but there's also oversize charges where your suitcase is determined to be too large for the regular conveyor belt and has to be brought to the oversize luggage area. Extra weight fees are generally FAR more expensive than oversize fees.
