@@Excludos All examples so gave are fine except for racing teams, all F1 teams use their own wheels in their sims and their own software. Their sims are like 80% to the actual thing nothing like a home sim setup.This wheel would be ideal for something like E sports etc.

try as I might, I can't understand how a wheel that requires that much additional visual attention is even a consideration for VR? You literally can't look at what makes the wheel as awesome as it is (the buttons, readouts, etc.). Nonetheless, great video as always.

It's a shame the wheel was lost in transit after you definitively sent it back. In hindsight you should have spent the extra few bucks to get a tracking number, but oh well.

There is not much difference between this and the real wheels. In F1 the majority of the parts on the wheel are 3D printed and the case is carbon fiber molded. The screen, dials, buttons are standard industry stuff you can get for various applications. So price wise its similarly not much of a difference really to the real thing either.

$3650.35 US would get you a very nice gaming PC with a 2080Ti and maybe either an X299 or X399 motherboard for the PC. That is if you need the core count for your PC but enough for 2 of them in SLI if you dont really need the extra cores or PCI-e lanes of very close to it. but more than likely 2 2080s in SLI no doubt. Just think when say Asetto Corsa or iRacing got full ray-tracing support.

Shame on Fanatec for having an official Formal 1 license and not making a reproduction wheel like this. They literally sawed the bottom off the current Formula wheel, slapped some new buttons on and added some colors that are foreign and eye catching to us. There’s your “Officially licensed” F1 wheel. They could make a version like this with the screen and one without for VR users like myself.

You see... The "OT" button? It means OVERTAKE, does it not work in game yet? Also, the ratchet wheel controls near your thumbs can sometimes control differential lock when coming out of corners. Do they work? Can you go thru and show which buttons actually work? Im am really curious if the quick setting paddles work and if you can actually program settings into the extra paddles, like real f1 wheels.

unless you are using the buttons and knobs then vr would almost be an insult to the wheel. it may as well be a piece of wood with grips on it at that point. how wide is it? the fanatec f1 rims at like 270, 280mm, which is what sort of turned me off of them, i figured they were bigger. but you say this feels bigger.

Hey Jimboy let me say that this wheel is a great looking and well placed buttons look almost like the Mercs. But the screen looks very shitty. I urge you to go and review the Rexing wheel I own one that’s of 2016 so the buttons on my wheel are unmarked. But now they have the new marked buttons with added shifters. Pls have a look on the web and compare the screens man and let me know what you think. Cheers mate

If you only want the f1 liveries to be used you have to go to the content folder then cars then find the formula hybrid folder then go to liveries and delete all the default liveries and only leave the formula 1 liveries in there
