Even after all these years I still miss the old CV mechanic where you control multiple aircraft group. It was honestly a lot of fun and was epic to watch. You see 50+ aircraft fighting in the sky, multiple strike group coordinating their drop truly lives up the name of "carrier strike force", you see them flying back battered to their carrier instead of just disappearing to the sky.

honestly they could have just toned down the damage and give them some plane regen. the old mechanics were indeed really cool

I'd play a singleplayer game with those mechanics, truly something unique and got me into the game to start with. I'm sad they turned cvs into a mobile game instead of just balancing the damage

What Im enjoying as a CV player is seeing you show the world "It isn't that fu##ing easy". I get such hate as a CV player, yet it's bloody hard to win with

You miss the point completely. The problem isn't that they are overpowered, although some of them are. The problem is their mere existence spoils the game for other players, in so many ways. Let's just sneak down the flank. CV randomly flies over you, spotted and dead. One on one duel with an equally capable opponent. Having fun. CV flies over from the far side of the map and puts 4 torpedoes from side. Back to Port. Exit Game.

To be honest, everything about this match came down to the two cv players wrestling. You know, precisely the situation that was put up for all to see when they decided that we needed the rework. Seems legit. Credit where credit is due though, the immelman did a great job outplaying you in the early air superiority game.

This is one of the reasons I could never keep playing games like this, after a while I just want to shoot my TEAM more than I want to shoot the enemies. I mean whats up with the matchmaking when the 2nd and 3rd on Flambass team scores about as well as the 2nd and 3rd FROM THE BOTTOM on the other team? Its like half his team barely existed at all. Unfortunately this goes for so many team games with matchmaking like this, be it ships, tanks or even mechs.

@@shatteredstar2149 People complain subs are OP because they act like nuclear subs performance wise. 'it's a game it's not supposed to be historically accurate'. To many planes in a warship game. 'it's historically accurate'.
