When you looked at the camera with such a thankful disbelieving expression on the plane whilst all bundled up in your blanket, watching your film, it made me so so so happy for you. If anyone deserves that upgrade, it’s you. I need to know where the Christmas town is? I have a lot of trouble in long wait lines at the airport. I always bring sour candies. They distract and help. Also ice water if you have a way to take a bottle of cold water off the plane.Or bring a completely frozen water bottle to the airport. The TSA in America allows frozen liquids in the carry on. Dress in layers. Merry Christmas.
Oh mark! I feel for you in the airport line up story. I was once at this craft store called Micheal’s & I didn’t realize there was one big line that then went to each individual till & anyway, I cut in front of people & I didn’t realize & this older woman basically barked at me & said “hey the back of the line is over here! This isn’t Walmart you know!!!” & I felt so embarrassed & small. But it was an honest mistake & there are definitely nicer ways to say things. So I’m so sorry that man was rude!
Watching this while on a solo trip to Copenhagen! Must have been super scary feeling like you might faint, I get medical anxiety quite a bit, and it's always worse while solo travelling. As soon as anything feels wrong in my body my mind just gets overly preoccupied with the thought of something happening while on my own in a different country and not knowing what to do, and it's frustrating! I could do with a flight upgrade to recover from the stress (does easyjet do first class upgrades? 😅)
