People forget that Christians are human too. We still struggle with insecurities. She said in the video that some of her flaws on her teeth were from being sick and along other things. And this was a way to fix them. How is it any different than if you were to dye your hair? Or wear makeup? Or get a tattoo? You altar your appearance. Taking care of yourself and getting certain things done every now and then is not vain. Not attacking or arguing, just trying to show you a different perspective ❤

I know the old adage don’t speak if it’s unkind - though this is truly ridiculous! Yes, this!!! My mom was so focused on looks when i was growing up. All the women in my life were. Everyone was so unhappy with themselves. And it influenced me to be image-obsessed and self-loathing. Now i truly try to model for my daughter that appearance is the least important thing about any of us.

Who knows what these cost but as a former dental assistant, around $1000 per tooth (possibly more nowadays). You would never go for more than 10 teeth on top for veneers. You don’t put veneers on molars. :) hope this helps a little.
