Hey thank you very much indeed - it was very difficult to get the right vibe using digital instruments, but I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to comment!!

Aw thanks man - for some reason this video gets ripped and re-uploaded at least once a month... always by an Indonesian account. There's something about this that they can't seem to get enough of 🤣 Thanks for watching bud - hope you had a good christmas and all the best for the new year!! xx
Oh thanks Vanzinni - I'm glad we could still surprise you! If this sort of thing floats your boat, there's a whole playlist of loop pedal covers like this on our channel :) xx Thanks so much for watching !!
Aw thanks so much man, so glad you enjoyed this :) Yeah we initially started using them just to add the odd cymbal crash etc, but before long we realised that we could actually use them to spend quite a lot of time 'off loop' - haha! It's really useful for those songs that are a bit quirky or complex or just don't conform to the simple, loopable form (which is all the best songs 🤣) Thanks a million for watching Patrick, and have an awesome week :) xx
@@TheDistanceDuo The execution was awesome too, got to mention it, cause it is no easy job! There are sooo many songs I just gave up on them because it was no good fit for a loop. I'll buy a footswitch and plug it in my RC300 as soon as possible! Just a questions if you don't mind. The footswitch is pluged in the loopstation or in the Computer/Daw/Ableton or something else? Glad you replied my comment, you got a new fan in Brazil!!!
@@patrickbraz9449 Oh sorry I should have been more clear: the footswitches are plugged into the roland handsonic drumpad - in this vid I'm using the white HPD10 which can have two external triggers, and soph is using the HPD 20 which can have three... although footswitches for the looper are a good idea too: you can use them to start and stop certain tracks, or kick on effects etc, but no one-shot drums unfortunately. I believe the BeatBuddy might be a good compromise for one-shot options if the Handsonic isn't in your budget, but we've never used one so we can't vouch for the quality...
@@TheDistanceDuo Nice tip, thanks a lot! I will search for the HPD20 drumpad, cause it's very handy as I can see. For now, I might use a midi footswitch + ableton, because I'm already using ableton through the RC300 so it might work for me! Thanks again Mat, you are the man!
@@patrickbraz9449 Oh no worries at all bud, yeah the HPD 20 could be quite a useful tool for you since you;re clearly something of a percussionist anyway - loving that live performance on your channel and I did notice the laptop - ableton seems incredibly versatile so it should be easy enough to set up some midi triggers. Fun is the aim, so just go crazy!!
They certainly are!! We had about four freeze-ups on the last gig which is more than usual. Maybe we're out of practice after the year-off! Luckily no one was paying attention 😂
