I’m excited about this. I am growing dahlias from a few different seed companies. I did a few last year and also saved those seeds. I have just over 30 small containers started and am hopeful they bloom. I can’t wait to see the pretty colors.
Honestly, I'm not sure whats more gorgeous you, or your dahlias? Seriously though, your video was great and informative. Question are you saying one can use horsetail which i have tons of as a liquid fertilizer, how please?
They turned out amazingly!!!!! Honestly congratulations, I know a lot of people who have tried this and dont get bloomd on them.. you have the magic touch
It's your lovely lady in the center that caught my eye. I grow my zinias all around my girls to bring in the beneficial pollinators and eaters of the non beneficials. If I have enough I'll use some deli as 2 it's just gorgeous.
Nice job! I got Danlia tubers and just put them in the wine barrels outside. Zone 9b. Fingers crossed. I also threw zinnia and cosmo seeds straight into the ground. 😮😮😮 I’m excited to see if I get results
What area are you growing in? Hawaii here and I love how you used the cannabis. Starting some Karl Malone seeds my brother feminized with his grow. I’ve got some tubers and seeds of dahlias coming in soon. Just completed my irrigation system as well.
Beautiful. I am inspired to save a few bucks and try them from seed instead of tubers. Not sure your climate but I think Hostas need a lot more water in dry areas. I live in New England and they thrive here in full sun but my yard is always soggy wet.
Dear farmilicious gardener friend, Greetings from the other side of the world 🌎 Abb Fabbb fabulicious Dahlishouss 🌷🌷 Well done on the quick growth . It's mid February 2024 . I have sown 2 batches One pompom variety dahlias, 2 weeks ago. And a second "Showpiece" dahlias batch a week later. The seedlings already sprouted. On *both* !! 🌱 🌱 🌱 The first batch already has a set of true leaves. Your plants will be my inspiration. By the way seed grown Dahlias still do not have tubers on their young grown . They love stable moisture, so morning irrigation can help them the stress of midday heat. We have mild winters no frost. And warm to hot late spring. I hope my Seedlings shall bloom as beautiful as yours. I can't wait Mishmish M.m
Awesome!! I planned the same. This is so encouraging. Now I know what to expect. Thank you for sharing. Did you cover the grass with cardboard before you added the compost on top? Also, what seeds did you use? Thanks
