I was incredibly impressed by this school, especially the well-organized entry system for children with tracking capabilities for parents. I spoke with a few teachers, and they all seemed very loving and competent, which is so important. I was also shocked by how much this couple Anna and Eric accomplishes. Besides being the director of the resort, Eric is also the school's director. When do these people find the time? 😅

About time Filipinos get used to interacting with many people with different cultures from all over the world so they don't have to stare so long when they see a "foreigner." Kudos to the husband and wife team. Please don't enter Philippine politics Mr Eric. Keep doing what you're doing.

Being a Filipino schooled in the Philippines (though now living in the US), I can say Anna and Eric's ICS school looked high class (and affordable) for a private school. It seems it has the amenities for a conducive learning environment, (and air conditioned, too). From the perspective of a Fillpino exposed to foreign education (in the US), ICS seems highly recommendable for your children, Jelena.

It's good you find a nice school for your kids in ICS owned by your friends Eric and Anna. The school facilities are conducive to learning, lots of shade trees, and a sprawling secure compound where the students can linger on and relax. The tuition fee is very reasonable and we can say it is cheap. So you may enroll your kids this coming school year Jelena.

It's an affordable school for private, when you compare to others so expensive the amenities the of school is also good it's near also in Manila. It's good the owner is your friend not being worried much about the children. I think this is the best school for your children.

City school are different from province especially in sa al which is remote area.. Samal is getaway and beach area and so it is govt school..dont expect remote rural area pretty good facilities coz most are built thru donations but they have good teachers

I hope this school pays their teachers well. It is not always true that they don’t work for the money , of course Filipinos work for the money , the cost of living these days is high . Teachers should be compensated for their hardwork❤

Senior high School in the Philippines is free even if you enroll in private School.The Government will subsidised it.The pay check will go directly to the School.All you have to do is to enrolled.

Good idea Jelina, there are many international school here in the PHilippines and or many foreigners are enrolling in different Philippine University. If you notice, only the Philippines can provide more Nurses in every nation. Choose the best school for Emma & Dominique. Good day & best regards. God bless

There is an old video of Anna telling how she learned Tagalog. When she and Eric had just started living together, Eric's relatives and friends spoke Tagalog, so Anna thought she needed to learn Tagalog to understand what they were saying. She wanted to understand everything the people around her were saying. She learned even more Tagalog during her modeling career.

You may want to know if the school, specially if your children graduate grade school or Senior highschool, that their standard curriculum is acceptable in Europe. So the kids will not have problems if they decide to go to highschool or college in Europe.

As an American who lived and studied in the Philippines (grades K5-12). In my opinion, the best schools in the Philippines for you're kids are the metropolitan cities like MAKATI and MANILA,. I went into a Tech High School in the Philippines. Private Schools in the City is worth the price compared to the Private Schools in the province. Once you visit the Private Schools (elementary and highschool) in the city the tuition price is worth it.

That’s a very reasonable tuition fee and nice school and very close to their resort. I think your kids would love it there. Samal is more of like a province and perhaps outdated schools.

The school 🏫 is really nice! It has many facilities and some are new construction and almost finished. It has a large school with wide spaces for children and students to be able to comfortably move in the vicinity. ICS is a private school that meets Department of Education standards. I feel that this school will be good and ideal for your kids; Emma & Dominic. 👍😊🤗😁💕

Anna has the option of applying for a Filipino citizenship if she's OK losing her Russian citizenship. Kulas (Kyle Jennerman) stayed in the Philippines for ten years before applying for naturalization. He went for the Legislative Naturalization which means he filed his request before Congress. You can also apply via Administrative or Judicial naturalization. Administrative, however, requires that applicants should have resided in the Philippines since birth. Since this doesn't apply to you, your only path is via Judicial. You can Google about this mode.

I think this school is good for Emma and Dominic. And it’s affordable even it’s a private school. It will be great if the school will be the one who will secure the Student visa from the Philippines Immigration office. And don’t forget coordinating with the government of Germany regarding the schooling of your kids abroad. I remember one of your last blogs in Samal before you went back to Germany, you said that someone in Germany snitched on you. Hope everything works well with you and the kids in the Philippines, if you finally decide to settle there. Now Emma and Dominic needs to keep on practicing speaking English 👍😊

Hello Jelena! How are you today? Anyway, I would like to ask a question. While you're in the Philippines together with your kids. My question is which place you want to stay or belongs. You deserve to stay in the province like Davao, Samal or Siargao? Or you want to stay and work in the City like Cavite? You have to choose first where you belongs and also you have to think the capacity of your income. Jelena this is an opinion and suggestions for your plans to stay in the Philippines for good.

A private school in the Philippines or elsewhere in Asia typically costs much more than a private school that charges only 2,000 pesos per month. As a Filipino teaching ESL in Thailand, I have observed that private and international schools in Thailand are in competition regarding pricing. This competition is particularly evident as they seek to attract foreign teachers, especially those from Western English-speaking countries, where tuition fees are significantly higher. Thai government schools and international schools in Thailand are increasingly hiring Filipino teachers because they tend to stay longer in their positions compared to Western teachers who often leave once they have saved enough money to travel again. Additionally, Western teachers may also leave if their salary demands are not met, whereas Filipino teachers are more likely to stay committed to a school even if their salary does not increase to their expectations.
