I think it's normal to have mixed emotions when transitioning from one space to another. Your bedroom looks like a haven which I would find a bit sad leaving, but gosh you will be gradually creating another one for yourself. Onward and upwards, happy travel and all that!👍🚌😎

Have you noticed how much fun it is to move? Keep the things you need, like your best jeans and your best t shirts and shoes. Down sizing is the key. Keep all the things you need. The key word is NEED. And make room for some needed wants stuff. Start gathering lots of canned foods. Bottled water. get a small wood burning stove along with a propane and butane stove, (dual fuel) If you can afford it, get a Jackery power pack that can recharge with solar panels. Order lots of freezes dried foods. Plan all your trips with a map. GPS is not reliable. Get batteries for all your hand or head lights. Fitted sheets not fitting well? Rule of gross tonnage. No one is going to run their car into a big-ass bus. :0) Get yourself a little set of hex shaftdrive drill bits - to fit in that hex driver - predrill when you're less than two inches or so from the edge, and you won't split the wood. Good luck! I'd have a hard time leaving that dog. :0)

Wow, I'm very proud of you. I'm anxiously waiting for you to get insulated window covers, they will keep it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter and make feel more homey and safer. It will be a lot more cozy. That would be one of the first things I would do after the the walls , ceiling,floor and bed. Seems a lot of us are concerned about you getting your windows covered. Oh boy, I felt that! I felt a bit sad about moving into my rig on the last day. Honestly, I spent the first night parked on the street in front of it, just so I could acclimate. It didn't help. I ended up ripping the bandaid off anyway the next day. Such a big leap. I'm grateful to have watched your whole journey from buying the bus, until the first move-in day. And btw, when you backed up the bus, it sounded like you crashed into the garage lol

Make a picture album for your pictures and postcards and have a spot in your living area for it so on a rainy day you can take a trip down memory lane

Be careful about weight. Don't overload your rig or you'll risk getting stuck and may be unable to climb inclines. Secure your loads as well. Remember to equally distribute your loads.

It would be a good idea to get a backup camera, there are so many blind spots that you lose sight of things in those old school busses, you can get them wireless or cheaper wired versions.

You might want to turn those drawers around and bungee them to the wall. They’ll fall and possibly a drawer will break. I know this from personal experience in my van though it might be different with the bus 😅 Also your mirrors are your best friend! I have no backup cameras and always do great without them. Don’t be ashamed to practice backing up in a open parking lot with lines and use those to get used to your size 💚 once you get it down you’ll wonder why it seemed so daunting!

Just watching you empty your room felt weirdly sad and intimate. It felt like the end of an era, and it wasn't even my life! I haven't really moved all that much in my life, but I can imagine the feeling. Congrats on moving in(it seems more optimistic than the moving out)! This is a new adventure. I'm sure you'll make amazing discoveries. I envy you a lot!

I think when u have the intention to move at the time u get somewhere it's not as hard to leave but as we get older n we change the way we do things u moving out of the house became more sentimental when ur plans of going to Europe changed, covid had u staying a unpredictable amount of time so I think that along with other reasons became why it was harder then normal for u. I'm very proud and inspired by your build and motivation, thank u for everything u have done to encourage me without even knowing it, lol

You really need to make something to protect your water line. The wood will be bouncing around and cut . Those plastic dressers are not going to last b7t if you get some bungee cords to keep them closed . nice backing skills, I do it for a living.

Congratulations you've come a long way and have a much longer way to go journey through life. If you don't have enough wall space for all your pictures you can put them in plastic sleeves and then put them in binders

I saw enough of your bus’ agility when maneuvering and backing up. And with its ample clearance underneath and your capable driving you have a very cool ride that’ll serve you well. It’s a big deal finding a place to stay, but there are plenty of apps and you will make nomad friends in no time. Just take it one day at a time. Cool beans, you’ve gotten to this point and you are a strong and awesome person!

You need to order a steering wheel cover but in the meantime drape a towel over the steering wheel to keep it from getting so hot that you can't grip it, I hope that you are feeling good living on your bus, I would like to see you finish the projects so you will have permanent fixtures instead of temporary ones
