hey everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week! let me know what you think about living in vehicles and the rules surrounding it!! Ame & Gigi xxxx Patreon - / ameinavan paypal - paypal.me/amei.... :)
hey! I hope you're all good :) please note that I do NOT have telegram, nor would I ever use telegram to message you or ask money from you, please PLEASE do not respond to these scammers. The only user name I use is Ame in a van (with a verified tick next to it). It's so sad that I have to write this. I've contacted telegram, reported them more times than I can count. I really don't want any of you to get scammed or hurt in anyway...so please know that if you get a reply to a message on here and it isn't my exact channel name with a grey tick next to it, it's not me. Okay, love you all, please be careful :)
🌹🌹🌹Poem for Amelise: ❤️❤️❤️ Ame in a Van, Discovering life as you can. On the road all day and night, Feeling absolutely free and bright. Your quest has lead you here, So relax and be full of cheer. What is the purpose of life you ask, What if it’s just to be under the sun and bask? What if we are all here to just be, Simply exist and feel such glee. When you have a question look inside, Your inner Spirit can be your guide. When you look around and see others, Know that we all are your sisters and brothers. You have divine wisdom within, You search for answers therein. Sometimes you sit there and wonder, What’s all this about; you do ponder. Looking at the wonderful nature around, This is your home that you’ve found. You made a simple van into freedom, Now any place is your kingdom. When you dance and sing with your whole heart, It’s your happy place; where you can restart. You inspire others with your deep thoughts, Your questions are connecting the dots. Your life is a beautiful plan in action, Throw the plan out the window it was just a distraction. You are exploring and do not need a map, You and Gigi can just take a nap. Love and Light to your soul, Just be and feel whole. ~SpiritCompass~
Albeit 05:30 GMT finished a late call… lovely poem🙏. My Late Father had one which I often think of! ( The Sign Of A Kindly Person ) A Person Whom Can Walk With Kings! Yet Be Equal! On That Same Day, That Kindly Person Sees A Poor Beggar Man Or Tramp, Sitting Alone On A Park Bench! That Kindly Person! Sits With Him! Yet Makes Him Feel Special & At Ease! That Is The Sign, Of A Kindly Person!! God Bless!
@@ameinavan How kind! Thing being Ame… my life has been dominated by so called Political Correctness!!… sadly for most… it’s not in my nature to be politically correct. In my professional career I’ve dealt with many from all walks of life. I recall once having to serve a Magistrate Order to recover neglected horses for a well established organisation. Sadly the Magistrate had misspelled the name making it worthless. The Inspector dealing with the case mentioned that we were legally required not to take action!! If I had followed political correctness… the horses would be dead… so I recall saying ‘ Bollocks to that! ‘ and albeit managed to rescue the horses, the complaints from the authorities were relentless… therefore, on headed paper, I replied… Bollocks to you!, hire of sack me!! They continued to contract me!😂… so very proud you appear to follow that opinion. I apologise for the swearing!🙏
Thankfully she has a “don't give a shit” attitude about what people think. When we get to a certain age we start to worry about things not worth worrying about and the free spirit vibe starts to wane. She hasn't reached that age yet, so keep rocking Ame, and continue the way you are, you're doing just fine.
You're so adorable; what a fun video!! After a long day at work, sharing some adventures with you and the lovely diva Gigi was the perfect thing. Your perspective and the joy you take in seemingly small, simple pleasures like a tasty meal, a cup of coffee, a pretty mirror, and a peaceful morning show us all what is truly important in life. We don't need as much as we think we do - we just need to go out, live and collect those experiences! xoxo 💞
All governments hate people that are and do things out of their view of normal and mainstream. So they will always try to make it difficult for people that don't have a apartment, work, pay taxes, bank loans and accounts, phone number and phone that's on line and easy to follow. You look like you doing good and having a good time, don't stop living life and just be like society want us to be.
Just because she lives in a van doesn't mean she doesn't work, pay taxes, have a bank account and phone number! Agree with your sentiment though. Laws only ever accumulate (politicians don't get cash for removing laws), so rules pile on rules, and our liberty suffers. Just takes one politician with a dim view of a given demographic, a law gets added, and that's that, it'll never get removed. Some of the old laws in Europe (and America) are so irrelevant to the present century (and previous century) it's comical.
Nope, you are right. Nothing with her, just said the government don't like when people live off the grid, and they make laws and rules make it difficult. @@tonyhawk123
Fun facts, (or not fun) I was working with and was skateboarding in the start of the 80's and was running a small skate store in early 90's here in Stockholm. And travel and actually meet you in LA, Magnuson, Powel.. Don't know exactly when, and I was not even close to your level. If you are Tony Hawk
Since first stumbling on your channel a couple months back I have been in awe of your determination, DIY ethic, humor, adventures, relationship with Gigi, and drop dead good looks. Fridays are special now. Look forward to seeing you next Friday, thanks for the continued inspiration to get into my nearly decade long dream to get into van life.
Hello Ame, you're one of my favorite people to ride with on your fantastic voyages in Europe. Being drop dead gorgeous is also an incentive for me to watch. You are extremely witty and funny and I love the fact that you always have something interesting to say. Keep up the good work...we love you!!! ❤
Love your videos Ame! They’re witty, creative, beautifully-shot and edited. It’s a treat for us to come-along on your adventures, and for us in America to see a bit of Europe. Best VanLife/Travel videos on YT!
Hi Ame, your decision to buy your van and go off on your travels looks to have been the best thing you have done, beautiful places you visit and share with us. I love what you do and the lifestyle you have. You’re beautiful and do the best videos 🥰. Always enjoy your adventures and stories. The van looks amazing ❤️🥰🥰. I would love to do something like this myself
15.55 How about you come to Bali and visited me and Indonesia people ? You Will feel in heaven (because we warm and full of love)...Love you full from Bali, Indonesia 💓💓💓💓
I think society in western countries makes a big deal of living in a vehicle… I’m very looking forward to travel and live in my car in the Philippines, my homeland… people there would be amazed and even jealous if I tell them i live in my car… you could just sleep in your van without covering the windows and they wouldn’t even mind cause it’s just perfectly normal for us to sleep where ever and when ever you want 😌
I agree. I dont think its the people as much but the GOVERNment and councils. They are not earning as much revenue from people living in their vans (which is the point), so they are now think-tanking ways to rake it back. Typical democracy at its finest. Max and Occy's channel today showed Western Australia is now charging $0.15 cents a litre for vans fillijg up on water ... in a country currently suffering from record flooding ...
I only live/travel in my car for about six to eight months out of the year, but it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Gas prices and finding a place to stay can get a bit annoying though. I definitely need to get a dog. Love your videos, safe travels ✌️
Love you you are a great person in that big man upstairs wants you to be you are a Angle keep up the good work and be safe in from creepy dudes I'll be watching all your steps from intruders be safe. Believe me. You will be fine.
My Friday night hit of Ame, I think your van/home is going slowly fill up with your little shoppin sprees, mirrors looks great, (suggestion double sided velcro fasteners to hold it in place) great video as always, just love you, gigi your content and editing, thank you Ame x
Back from a week away, but mood is improved, great catch up as usual!! 😊. Nothing wrong with living in a van, it’s probably more the system doesn’t want people living off grid that they make it harder.
Yet another wonderful installment of the ongoing adventure. We love being included in your travels. Congratulations on the new and proper commode and mirror. Big love from Michigan. See you next Friday.
You will never go into your golden years with any "what if ". Well done. The channel has grown so fast! I subbed when you had less than 1K. You are a pleasure to watch.
Back on top…with clothes😉 I guess it gets you some extra (well deserved) hits/likes, but to me you’re at your best like in this episode - self ironic, with that classic British humor. You rule the vanlife genre👏👏👏👏
I would have to give it a go on the living in a vehicle for a bit to know however, the convenience and comfort of a home is always there but being able to travel the world and have a van, RV or bus to sleep in would be wonderful to experience and take in. (As long as I could keep the stalkers and robbers away)
Comfortable shoes are so important. Uncomfortable shoes can hurt your knees and back. You're still in your 20s so it's usually no big deal but when you get to your 30s like me, you will appreciate this advice, lol.
*"ADVICE"* - WHEN EVER *YOUR NOT SURE OF A PLACE TO PARK* - AND FIND A PLACE - *MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR FRONT OF THE VAN FACING THE WAY YOU CAME IN* - JUST INCASE YOU *NEED TO LEAVE IN A HURRY* - *NEVER HAVE YOUR VAN FACING THE WAY YOU CAME IN* IT *TAKES MORE TIME TO REVERSE THEN IT DOES TO JUST TAKE OFF STRAIGHT*
YES, was so happy seeing a new video pop up from you, you’ve been missed and glad to see your doing well. And congrats on the toiletries upgrade 😂. And that small fur ball cant ever get enough. You Miss Ame are a fresh breath of air, the way you dont shy away from any topic if you want to say something you do and you never try to fluff/ PC it up, you just talk in the way you do, DONT ever change. Thanks for allowing us to share in your adventures again, keep enjoying and enjoying the fuck out of life as you are.

Aw I love this one! I do the same thing when I take my dog Chester to the groomer... I think I am going to love the time and then spend it missing him and feeling like crying!! Lol!
It's all about control. They want everyone in their houses where they can be monitored by the devices they have tricked people into buying. Love your content. Song of the day for you, Donovan- Season Of The Witch. I think you'll dig it. Take care.
She's absolutely stunning I love her eyes don't mean to come across as a weirdo 😂 breaze of fresh air to see someone her age in this day and age to be so mature and independent
This girl kills me, I find her so bloody funny! Her sense of humor is amazing, and she talks so posh I’m mesmerized! Looks so damn sexy, dresses amazing, and so down to earth! My fav blogger!
looove your videos!! :) I think living in a van is personal and situation based. If it works for you, then great. I know there are a lot of cons, but those views and memories you're creating are awesome!!! every day, you're paving new roads for van life learners and obtaining so much good experience. Van life isn't for most people, but if one can make it work, then great!! Keep on going :)
Hey beautiful, I absolutely love you videos and your lifestyle, I don’t understand how someone as educated, intelligent and well bred as you are , is living in a van but I guess that’s what makes your videos so watchable. Keep them coming Amy their/your adorable
That feeling when buying a porta-potty means you’ve levelled up! Don’t forget to keep your blinds down! Stay safe on the roads. I honestly think a vast majority of people look down on van lifers or people who either choose to or have no choice but to live out of their vehicles, which is a real shitty attitude to have. People have been hardwired to think owning land and a house is the only path in life, and when they see someone doing the opposite they can’t comprehend it. Regardless of the reasons, just leave everyone be, let everyone live their own way, so long as it doesn’t hurt anyone in the process.
Nice of you to warn everyone. Flies at a picnic! I really enjoyed the walking around footage. It looks so cool. Traveling to Europe is on my bucket list. I recently moved into a "5th wheel". It's a 2 bedroom thing with toilet and shower. But I'm getting a little taste of van life staying here! You're an inspiration! Safe travels 😎✌️❤️🙏🏻
10:13.... The system ...produces “Domino human product producers”... all nicely packaged for their control and distribution!? Now? How do they categorise you!? “A Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss”.... I suppose it’s called real unfettered Freedom? Do it enjoyably while you can....Regards
Loved the walking with the imaginary leash and dog😂! I was blown away when I first saw what van life could be like on RU-vid, I do some photography and going for a few days in a comfy van to shoot sounds great but 71 with mobility problems; not going to happen but really enjoy you striding out and owning the places. My one trip to Paris was nothing like that! Be dramatic! the video quality just keeps improving Oh and a takeaway to the van was epic!
Biggest concern I'd have with living in a van full-time is having no "safety net" AND how all your stuff could suddenly become a massive extra burden if something went wrong. You're driving around, minding your own business, when somebody crashes into your van and does enough damage to write it off. Not only are you now "homeless" but you've suddenly got about half a tonne of stuff (clothes, furniture, tools, gadgets, tech' etc) that you've got to recover from your van and haul around and/or store until you can sort things out. I'm currently rewiring my Land Rover so the interior is out of it and my house is FULL of Land Rover parts and camping stuff. I mean, my spare bedroom is filled with lumps of Land Rover but there's camp-chairs, tables, awnings, cookers, barbeques, tools, recovery kit and all manner of junk (which normally lives IN the Land Rover full-time) strewn around every room of the house. I have no idea what I'd do with all that stuff if I was living in a van full-time and I needed to empty it out.
Hey Ame, I lived in a 30 foot self contained Bedford, ex-school-bus for 9 years. I built it up myself in a remarkably short time. This was in Australia. Primarily stationary on different plots of land for living in, an awesome road trip from Tasmania (my home) to Sydney and back. Lots of fun and wonderful memories. Would do it again but a little smaller than a bus next time.
Three things Ame... 1) Thank you for yet another video 2) You do not need to suffer in them boots to feel/look beautiful (great boot accessories anyway) 3) Last but not least great mirror - glad you bought it.
You need a deal with a clothes outlet where you go in and pick out new clothes to display for them while you're traveling. Then turn those in for more new clothes on a regular basis, rinse and repeat.
Who cares what people think of the choices you make in your life? The important thing is that you are enjoying it whilst others only have their narrow opinion to offer. You are barely in your twenties so just relax and soak the experience while you're still young. I'll swoop down in my heli akin to a knight in a white horse to rescue you when the time is ripe for you to enjoy life like a princess you were made to live for 😘
I agree government think vanlife or Carlile are homeless people that can't afford a home. I personally find it amazing! You are amazing and adventurous and finding the beautiful beach locations and nature locations that are breathtaking. Thank u for sharing your channel and your journey. I am happy your parents share vanlife.❤
From what I see living in a van is a very adventurous life, so stay beautiful dear Ame and I just love your videos very much. Much love and hugs to you dear Ame. From Tony in Brooklyn NY USA 💕
As a full-time vanner in Australia the challenge of where to park varies state by state. Sydney and most of New South Wales is very relaxed and you can stay pretty much anywhere except on the odd occasion where camping is signed as prohibited. It's mainly only prohibited in a few overly popular towns on the coast. I've been staying right on Sydney harbour in a few different spots right in the centre of the city for a month or so. As long as you follow normal parking rules the cops don't bother you at all and in fact I'm currently staying the weekend opposite a large police station and they've made a point of chatting to me and offering their thoughts on other good spots in the city. I'm off to Europe to pick up a van for five months at the end of next week so it will be interesting to experience the differences.
People who live in vehicles are less trackable, and aren't slaves to the landowning system who landlords can make profits off of, which also forces one to be a slave-wager and sell their labor to create profits for CEOs, upper level execs and share holders. Living in such a desperate and unhappy way eventually causes disease which can result in dependence upon big pharma and the overpriced medical system and the need to pay into an overpriced insurance policy. And just generally, people who are free can listen to their heart and be spiritual. People who do that can't be controlled. And when such people who can't be controlled exist in the presence of those who are being controlled, their energy shines a light on that, making others aware that there's something better in life. Fuck em, be free 🌼
Yes AME and GI GI loving your video's are you on telegram? Wow your queen bee 👑🐝 Kim Kardashian is so jealous she has gone depressed ..😘🙂 take care GOD BLESS NUFF LOVE AND RESPECT ALWAYS FOR U and GI GI drive safe 😘😘
Great show. What city was this (beginning of video)? If you can make it work and (in some cases) pay for your parking (most are private and locked off here in Maryland), van life sounds great. Your show is appealing because you have no drama- just getting on with it and enjoying it!
Dramatic is 🥴😈 And the Chef 😘🌹 💘 More so because im a very good chef 👨🍳French ski season 3 times Austria once. Posh one was Saint Foy, Very Deluxe. Fed some famous people there lol.
Love your channel, you are very authentic, creative, resourceful, adventurous and fun. I am an overlander by blood and got myself a van last xmas (2nd hand 4x4 merc sprinter 🤩) which I am busy converting now. Re your question, I guess like anything in life there needs to be a balance, in this case as I have experienced through overlanding, respect for the local comminities and wildlife, and especially for oneself. Create a great experience, take/make good memories and leave only tracks on the road behind (for those who don't understand, it means not to litter). France seems to be a vanlife-friendly region, and I agree with you, there's just something about that mediterranean coast that tickles the fancy. I'm in the cold Swiss alps right now and that sunshine is surely calling! Safari! ✌️🩵... 🦓
