This change feels like the embodiment of lonely and stranded, but succeeding with humble self confidence. It’s crazy how emotional music is with it being strings and fingers.
I love these videos Mark! Great seeing a behind the scenes of each song. I would definitely love to see you do a video about Night Job next. Keep up the great work!
A good name for the second train album would be some combined music and train pun, like "Chucking Coal" which refers to firing the engine _and_ a technique for playing guitar, or "Standard on the Narrow" referring to how foamers think the K-37 were converted (they weren't) and standard tuning on a guitar, or "Head-ends and Harps" being the head-end of a train and harp being slang for the Harmonica. Just a few ideas, but I think it would be cool to have a double-pun album name!
I had to listen to this a couple of times and I still haven't got my head round it, other than it's a very interesting and cool sound. Adjectives fail me. Thanks for sharing!!
@@hycestudio5084 That's fair. All my musical training (when I was growing up) was classical and I have no frame of reference for this. But I love stretching my brain and I love independent music, so looking forward to more content ☺️ thanks again!!
Your a good player Hyce, I play drums and mostly into the classic rock. Would like to see you do a video on some of your favorite bands and guitar player influences. Rock On!
@@hycestudio5084 That's awesome! I actually started out playing guitar because my dad plays guitar but eventually I found out I was better and had more interest in drums so I stuck with it.
Loving the content over here so far! Not big on zeppelin but I really love the doors and the early dire straights sounds. Down to the waterline is still one of my favorite songs.
My tone deaf ears can’t really tell much of a difference but it’s still an entertaining video. I just downloaded Hellbot’s album, it’s gonna be my workout mix this week
Getting lost into the instrument being played is wonderful for ears and eyes. Material that's best for staying relaxed and productive. Good times, good music, good vibes all around
So obviously the album name has to come from you Hyce cause it's your art and you gotta put a bow on it or it won't feel right. But I feel I could throw 2c in about the *theming* of what the name could be. The RRO soundtrack brings in feelings of nostalgia and a longing for this bygone era of railroading. Assuming the new album is aiming for this same vibe the title of the album could reflect that. Alternatively take the tried and true method of recording artists everywhere and pick your favorite song on the album/the most iconic one to be the title song haha (RRO Soundtrack would be titled Smells Like Kenosha hahaha)
Hyce, Do you watch That Pedal Show at all on YT? i've learnt so much about dynamics and sculpting my own sound thanks to them, stuff like Wet - Dry utterly blew my mind and has shown me how to fill a room without needing volume cranked and having the amps caving in.
@@hycestudio5084 this is true. I have found guitar pedals in places around my house I don’t even remember buying. My last prince of gear I bought was a custom built lap steel with bender bars and I love thing. Not really as much as the violin, but close.
