A lot of people would actually be better at trading if they have commitment. But then everyone just tries to make profit without proper researches, which often ends up in unavoidable losses
The reason why most people lose money is not as a result of no commitment to trading but simply because of lack of proper guidance. Most times when trading you need to recognize the existence of an unsafe trade entry, And that is the obligation of a professional to guide you through
@JUANFERNANDO Thanks for stating that out, I have lost a couple of bucks in my past few trades. Do you mind telling me how I can get to recognize the existence of an unsafe trade entry like you mentioned?
I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. its important to seek the guidance of an expert
True, A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
Pamela Kay Regel deserves credit as one of the finest portfolio managers in the industry. Her reputation precedes her, and I highly recommend looking her up to locate her online if you are internet-savvy
It's refreshing to hear the real-life, true story of what traders deal with. How important and challenging controlling emotions and sticking to a plan can be. How years in the Market can still result in making mistakes you did not have to make and knowing that you made the choices willingly. Love the humility. Keep strong! Appreciate the candid assessment.
I lost over $70K when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I find one source to recover my money, at least $9k profits weekly. Thanks so much Rolando Eric
What impresses me most about Rolando Eric is how well he explains basic concept of winning before actually letting you use his trade signals. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades
Same type of week broke simple rules that I no I should not have and those mistakes piss you off the most because we no better especially after a loss live and learn appreciate your honesty✊
This is the true life of a Trader. I remember when I first started with 2k and started trading with little knowledge and somehow made 50k in less than 6 months. I thought I would never lose. I thought I was Invincible. Then Boom, I lost 12k in 1 week of trading and another 6k the following week. I lost 4k again the next week, and I was ready to take what I had left and Quit Trading. Thank God I didn't. I took a break, gathered knowledge, and took it slow and steady. I'm now over 6 figures and still taking losses along the way. Just smaller than before. Thanks, Ben, for keeping it real.
This is what I love about you, the honesty. The reality of trading. It was a tough week for a lot of people with rollover and the contract change, but you didn't sugar coat it. You had a bad week based on your rules not the other circumstances and that's what it is all about. The more I trade and the more I learn from you, the better I get at trading. Thank you for being real about what you do.
I can relate. There is nothing like 1-2 big losing days in a row for me and I'll get real conservative. Make sure all the rules and boxes are checked before entering and then I'm usually back on track. You are right Ben. There has been times when I'm on a roll and I think I've got it all figured out and then market will slap you on the face. It keeps one humble.
Thanks a lot, it was helpful. I don’t know for me as a beginner it’s always monday, first day is disasters and after that kinda like the engine started and get back on the track.
You actually need an expert trader assigned company to help you out. I currently trade with Mrs Harvey Jessica she is the best when it comes to making high profits in the market
My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this bear market. Just trade long term more than ever. If you can then get a professional to trade for you I think that way your assets are more secure .I invest with Miss Harvey Jessica and the profit is great even with the dip.
Wow😮 I thought I was the only one trading with Harvey Jessica she currently manages all my funds too and she also provides webinars on how to trade perfectly without loss, but I haven't started trading on my own yet, still building up my portfolio with her help for now
Great video Ben! You always bring me exactly what I need in terms of the subjects. We’re all human and we all make mistakes. Thanks for sharing this with us. Struggling traders need to know that not only them are loosing!
This video was right on time!!!! This was a tough week and I just said to myself, I’m going to tweak my strategy. Thanks for the word bro. It’s not my strategy, it’s my discipline that needs tweaking. Appreciate it bro!!! Salute!
I know how you feel. I was trading like a pro in October and passed phase 1 of a challenge in 8 days. When November hit it was like someone else jumped into my body. I kept winning then losing then winning then losing. It was 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. Here it is almost Christmas and I'm still trying to pass phase 2. And to make matters worse, I'm only $500 away from blowing the account. I'm using the same strategy but I'm forcing trades, over risking, and just being stupid. I'm trying to settle myself down and dig my way out of the hole I'm in, but I'm confident I will. Thanks for the honest video.
Thanks for the honesty. This was really encouraging to me. I had a profitable week last week but lost on Friday and then lost again on Monday. Those bad thoughts and practices began to creep up in my mind but i wouldn't let them live. This let me know that i must always follow my plan.
I needed to hear this fr. This is literally what happened to me this week. I had a good last week, relaxed and had a terrible trading this week. Broke all my rules, and blew 2/3 funded accs
Thank you for this Ben. This video was exactly what I needed to keep going fordward. We all have bad days, weeks, even months but we have to be strong enough to take all that pain, leave it behind and keep walking straight. Thanks again brother.
I have been fighting breaking rules, revenge trading, sizing up to get my losses back. Not even watching market structure trading blind when I get mad. However I found today I won then quickly lost ,stepped away calmed my self came back clear minded and turned a profit and shut my day down. First time not blowing my account up. Granted I'm only playing with 72 buck binary , I've taken 1k worth of investment and cranked it to 19k turn over. But my emotions get me. Point is I needed this video today. It hit home.
Your statement reflects a resilient mindset in trading. ❤ What i learned from your channel is; Acknowledging and accepting losses honestly is a crucial aspect of developing as a trader. It demonstrates a realistic approach and the ability to learn from experiences. Keep embracing challenges and learning from them; it's a key to becoming a successful trader in the long run.
I really appreciate this video, Ben. Thanks for being so real and transparent. I definitely relate to what you are saying. I am at the point where my stats are looking very good but I do still have these laps days when I seem to mentally loose it. Like you said we can fix this.
Props to you. I could count on one hand how many traders on youtube talk about their loses. The mass majority rarely talk about losing. Only want to talk about their winning trades.
I had that kind of day trading the micros today. Couldn't get on track, didn't follow rules, revenge traded, didn't cut losses short because i was using hope as a strategy. I look forward to tomorrow and get back on track. I appreciate your content and being real. Thanks.
One thing I agree is I hate missing a winning trade, but I see so many people in the comments happy that they can see you lose also. If you can’t stomach 2-3 losses in a row then please find another career . This is why I have a 1-2 trade per day max ! And more than more that second trade is just a re-entry .
I did the same thing last week and yesterday and today. I was in the profit and was greedy and didn’t take the profit and it dropped. Ended up loosing. I need to learn to take small profits and not to be greedy. Discipline!
Tell you whats on point you Ben! So inspirational helps a lot to hear that coming from you. Happy Chrismas Ben & a prosporous new year. Keep them coming
Watched a couple of your videos in the past. Only this video made me subscribe. I like it when channel owners and content creators keep it real. ! This makes me think, ok this guy is sincere, he actually cares about his channel family! I also follow Warrior Trader, Oliver Velez, Chris Sain because they are so real! Warrior trader recently did a did a video that he tilted himself "World's greatest Looser!" There he talks to his channel family, that he is in TRADING REHAB and paper trading because he broke his rules and lost miserably. New traders are getting into depression and dropping out because they be watching all these lying, fake, so-called millionaire braggarts on RU-vid that never loose!
I really appreciate you and your channel brother. I’m about two months in on learning and it is NOT easy. Your videos with the brutal honesty have helped greatly. This particular one has been especially helpful. Thanks again.
