When I feel a seizure coming on, I feel my body shutting down in slow motion then everything gets dark. I haven’t had one in awhile, but the feeling of losing mobility and drifting into darkness is disturbing. Feels as if you’re not gonna come back to life. My prayers are with you and your sweet mom. It’s got to be heartbreaking and heart wrenching for her.

As an epileptic, I completely understand what you are going through. The first time I passed out was on a school field trip and all of my friends and teachers were standing around me. This just popped up oddly a day after experiencing my first seizure in years. I used to have them frequently as a child but now I only have them in cases of sudden or unexpected trauma or pain and if I can't get a panic attack under control. I hate the feeling of helplessness right before it hits and the fatigue it causes after. I appreciate your openness and willingness to share to raise awareness. You are a blessing to all!

As an epileptic myself, this brought tears to my eyes. I am almost 1 year tonic clonic seizure free and it still traumatises me. i just want to give you a big hug to you and your mum. i wish you a healthy and fast recovery, and your mum did amazing protecting and looking after you. lots of love

You're so strong and beautiful.. Seizures are no fun.. I'm hypoglycemic.. Meaning low blood sugar due to anorexia (I am in recovery) I have seizures and spasms often.. I wish you and your mom the best!

Goodness, you are beautiful! Your relationship with your mom is inspiring. I do wish mom would understand though, that even as she tries to "talk you through" the seizure, you can't hear or respond. Telling a seizing person to relax, is like telling a deaf person to listen. It does not compute. Keep fighting, beautiful warrior! My two kids with seizures are beautiful fighters, too. I just found your channel and I think this is an amazing way to educate and raise awareness of epilepsy. I don't have it personally and I'm blessed to say that. Unfortunately my dad and his twin have it and so do both of my baby siblings and it's a horrible thing. It hurts to see what they go through. Stay strong girl.

I am in awe of those that can share with us their situations as I am a chronic migraine sufferer that has them almost daily and have dealt with so much crap because of peoples lack of understanding of them. Had I never had a pomeranian with them and caught a girl in a Walmart in line in front of me that has going to the floor I would have not had the curiosity to research and understand them more. Watching this made this man cry because I recognize the same look in myself and other migraine sufferers of how it effects the body before and after an attack. Those that are close to me, like girlfriends, lifelong friends and a few family members are able to tell when I am having an attack. My cure could be just feet away but you are mentally and physically incapable of movement and at that point you end up in bed for 10 to 12 hours with no choice but to knock yourself out some how and sleep. I am 40 years old and could have done almost anything in life but it appears now that these migraines are just a part of me, and I've got them for life as I've had them since two years of age. I have no clue how I graduated High School as I always missed forty days or so of school a year. It warms my heart to see you out and about as its no secret that people with disabilities such as ours have much higher rates of longterm depression. I so hope it's not happening to you or ever will........Brent
