I commend your strength for sharing your story. I hope this reaches and helps many people. At church today, the Pastor spoke about love and acceptance for everyone. My church did a "Pride Sunday," so it was a pretty key element. His words pertain to everything around us though, even abortions. Women should have the freedom to choose and they should not fear the judgment of others, but embrace the love and support from their community. I hope there's a quick turn around with this government's lack of morality. Thank you again for your commitment to helping, teaching, and guiding people through this wild ride we call life...

Thank you so much for sharing this! I’ve had 2 abortions both for completely different reasons (1st I was forced to by my family and partner at the time. 2nd was due to medical reasons) both affected me badly and the guilt I felt was so overwhelming. Seeing the babies on the screen with heartbeats didn’t help either. I’ll never forget being on the bus on the way to the hospital, I was with my mum and there was a woman with a newborn and I couldn’t stop staring because I knew was about to kill my child, all my mum said is don’t look but really wanted her to tell me I didn’t have to go through with it but she didn’t. The second was 4 years later, my doctor advised a termination due to medication I had taken before I found out I was pregnant it would have caused severe birth defects. When I got married a few years later and we decided to start a family I also suffered from recurrent miscarriage, and with 2 of those pregnancies I had to have surgery to remove my dead babies . It really affected me mentally and emotionally and I have now been left with BPD. I now have my daughter who’s 5 years old but the pain and guilt never goes away.

You are narrating what I went through almost to a tee but the part about the pill. I had the surgical. My saving grace was that I have the ability to compartmentalize emotions and thoughts so I locked everything in and move on without much support from no one. I really had no one to confide in anyway, and that is not a theme that is discussed much in my family.

What made you want to share!!! This is really amazing. Honestly. Nobody should ever loose respect for you.. this is soemthing you need to do and you feel it needs to be there and out there. My last relationship was very similar to what you described. He was a narcissist and had anger problems and was a gun fanatic. Literally bought himself guns but would yell and scream when I asked to do something together. I was scared he would shoot me one day. How I ultimately left him. He would be the type to follow me to the ends of the earth if I had a baby with him. Even if I left, he would hunt me down. He had family in police. If I had gotten pregnant I would of gotten an abortion too. Because I knew the child deserved better in another life. It would be more selfish to bring a child into a horrible situation than to simply prevent it in the first place, my opinion. And maybe if our government looked at men too as having contribution to an unwanted pregnancy, if our government had better mental health funding, and safe places to put children in with resources to give them a better life than the horrible foster care system, then less mothers would have abortions. Banning it isn’t the solution.

This was the video I didn’t know I needed. As someone who has always also had the mentality that if I got pregnant and didn’t feel prepared to have a child, abortion was an option. It’s incredibly eye opening to hear someone’s first hand experience. Like you said, that information isn’t readily available and so you just don’t really think about what it would be like.

You are brave. It shouldn’t have to be brave to speak your truth like this but at this time, and it being such a divisive issue, it really is brave. I totally see both sides as well, and its been a journey for me to lean one way and then another. I hope people watch and listen with actual open minds!

Thank you for being so honest, I don't know what to say, I had 4 in my life time, I'm so ashamed, & all I can say is I wish that I felt like I had other options back then and someone to talk to, I love you for your honesty, yes it is a choice, but I'm still affected by the choice I made decade's ago, all I can say is, make sure that you make the right choice...i'm still affected by my choice this has never gone away from my heart... anyways I hope that I didn't offend anyone, just sharing my personal experience and thoughts..peace and love

I always said to myself from the perspective of a man too, its hard for us men.. usually women want to keep the baby because women are emotionally invested and men are more logical about the situation.. women would not care if the man is financially stable or even ready for a baby at the time but since the baby is growing inside the woman they see it as a personal attack.. i am for abortion tbh this is my opinion.. i had a girl that i dated who was literally psycho and obsessed with me and said she was pregnant and the condom didn’t work and even said she would keep it with or without my consent!! Turns out it was a false alarm and then i blocked her everywhere..

I had an abortion at 17 years and I’m so glad I did it, I don’t regret it at all and I’m not sad about it. No shame! Abortion should be accessible for everyone!

I agree with almost everything you said, but I also think this change is the first step in the right direction to provide women with alternative options. protection, support.. I felt the same way you did when I got pregnant. I was told to get an abortion.. I saw them slander the previous mother.. and the doctors made sure I knew abortion was an option. gave me tests to ensure it was a child I wanted. as a lover of life.. the whole environment they create to make us feel as if thats our only option is very purposeful. I chose to keep my baby, I made my pact with God the night I delivered. God gave me this child to show me how strong I am.. we are. It is scary. women are special. through us God gives life.. I can see how many women get made to feel like we will fail, the odds are against us. I think making keeping the baby easier is where we focus now. I judge not my fellow women, for the plight of women is all of our to bear.. our solution needs to be love based. we need to get back to communities caring for the kids of their communities. spend abortion on guiding light programs that give mothers the tools to keep their babies and make better loves for themselves. I think people cast judgement on the people protecting women and children from abortions.. see, we know the negative attachment that comes with it. theres money being made off surgical abortions.. Theres a darker energy attached to it.. that feeds the darkness. yesterday I was thinking what charge Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell mustve gotten on this win for life. we love you girl.

I’m a divorced mother of two and I’ve had an abortion! The misconception is that pro choice means you are personally choosing to abort. I was always pro choice without wanting that for myself… when I did, I cried so hard when the doctor said “ALL DONE!” Like he just finished my eyebrows… I wrote a poem then moved on with my life. Occasionally I felt guilty for not thinking about it as much as I thought I would! I felt the pain and the pressure and the noise of what was actually happening! My poem spoke of an outer body experience, watching all of it from above. Glad you made this video!

Thank you for sharing your story. Just watched it all. One question, was putting the baby up for adoption not up for decision? I know you said your ex was toxic narcissist and used his kids for pawns, so no judgment. Just curious. I've always advocated that adoption is an option for unwanted pregnancies which is why I'm wondering. God bless

I had a surgical abortion (D&C). It was the right decision for me, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's traumatic. I was also 11.1 weeks along so I had passed the point of being able to get the pills. (I had canceled my appointment twice, as I was emotional and unsure of if I was making the right choice, then realized, it was, in my case. If I hadn't done that, I would have been able to get the medicated abortion.)

If you read the Bible you'll find the words, answers that will help you and other people open their own eyes and heart.
