Honestly ditch the extras, cotton candy grapes (or candy floss grapes as we call them in the UK) are absolutely delicious and freezing them for a bit does make them even better 👍
Intense sweetness surpasses cocaine reward in the brain. There's an insane amount of sugar present here. Cotton Candy grapes have double the sugar normal grapes do to begin with...
At least you know he would be a true one and not like the fake ones you pick up along the way and they dump you when you become friends with their sister and they think they don't like you anymore.......
Grapes are so high in sugar...they keep getting bred to be sweeter and sweeter lol..I think my friend in ag told me cotton candy grapes have 1 gram of sugar per grape
“It taste like candy” Do you not remember how much sugar you put in those? 😂😂😂 Edit: aight I get it, you don’t have to keep saying that’s not a lot of sugar. But just listen to my reasoning real quick, grapes are a fruit which have sugar already in them, he is using cotton candy grapes which I’m sure have more sugar in them than a standard grape then he adds lemon and lime juice guess what that’s more sugar, then adds more sugar onto the grapes. To me that’s a lot of sugar. And I know some of you are going to be like oh but that’s not as much sugar as there are in real candy or sodas, those also have a ridiculous amount of sugar in them as well. I don’t need 40 comments telling me that’s not that much sugar when it clearly is.
@@aintnoway001 soda has a ridiculous amount of sugar in them as well, not sure what your point is. Just saying anything is going to taste really sweet or like “candy” when you put tons of sugar on it.
I mean I guess it wasn’t the healthiest thing but it isn’t that much sugar. And also considering the amount of grapes there were is wasn’t much at all.
I legit bought these cotton candy grapes like 2 months ago, they taste completely different than normal grapes, even if you don't do any of the extra steps. They are sweet and refreshing and don't have a sour note at all (probably why people add lemon/lime juice) but honestly, if you get the chance, give them a try, it's worth it.
@@elleohairegular grapes with your favorite jello flavor. Look up jello grapes. You essentially use the powder as he uses the sugar, but on regular grapes. So so good. lol
The same people who engineered cotton candy grapes just came out with gum drop grapes And they are even more candy-like. Edit: I'm so sorry I use speak to text Because I interact with a small baby so my hands are busy.... my phone sucks and makes words suck sometimes.... had to correct a lot.
I've tried the cotton candy and gum drop grapes frozen, but they aren't as good as regular grapes in my opinion. For some reason, they don't taste right. I'll stick to my red grapes
True, but this definitely seems like a great way to make them more tangy and candy-like. I agree with him, these are a problem. Grapes are addictive af
You know it’s good when you have the horse lips smack going on. Btw it works with green grapes as well. Bit more sour but so good and I sounded like my dude eating them hahah
A great low carb/calorie summer snack is frozen grapes with jello powder on them! You need 0 sugar jello, whatever flavor you like, cherry and raspberry are both delicious!! Put the powder on the grapes, I am pretty sure they have to be damp so the powder sticks, then freeze them!! Trust me they are delicious!!! Perfect for summer!!!
@@charizard4410natural fruits and vegetables don't really exist anymore. Look up 100% natural watermelon, strawberries, or carrots. Everything we eat is designed to look pretty so it looks yummy. EVERYTHING.

@@stephaniesmith2681 the exact grapes that were cross-bred to make cotton candy grapes is a secret but they were just cross-bred with 2 really sweet grapes
@@niaprice3267the process of cross breeding is what us humans have been doing since almost the beginning of our species time. I do agree that the two cross breeding species of grapes kept as a secret is really odd.
@@daev255 no it's not weird if you think about it the cotton candy grapes is patented and in order to protect that patent they aren't releasing any info on how to recreate that grape they aren't even selling the plant
Fun fact if you leave them in the freezer for longer they will turn into little grape flavored popsicles since they would be completely frozen. Consider letting them freeze for longer for some grape popsicle bites!!!😋
Grapes are already sweet. Just freeze them. I like to keep a container in my freezer so I can add them to a glass of wine to keep it cold, then eat them at the end. So good!!❤❤
I keep frozen grapes in my freezer all of the time. If you're dealing with heat exhaustion, grab a handful of frozen grapes and sit your butt down. It cools you off in a hurry. I'm diabetic so I won't coat them with sugar. Grapes inherently have more than enough sugar.
ALSO !! ... *TRY Dropping in 3-4 frozen Grapes, into ur glass of wine 🍷.* ( To keep your wine drink - NICE & Refreshingly COOL! without diluting it w/Water!! 🍇🍷🤌🏻)
Idk why but i used to not like this guy but his content is pretty wholesome and sometimes actually a helpful food hack. Hope you keep living your best life bro bro
I would also recomended that you buy grapes, along with 2 jello packages red or green, put all grapes in the bag along with the jello power from the packs, then shake for 2-3 minutes, then put in the freezer for about 12-24 hours, then enjoy
In case you don't want to add extra sugar, just freezing regular sweet and seedless grapes is already good. I learned this about a year ago from a colleague. They have a strange new texture, not as solid as ice, means you can chew them. But it's not for people with teeth very sensitive to cold. Be aware of that. Otherwise I really recommend to try.
@@EverydayWithBobby I didn't know cotton candy grapes had added sugar in it I thought it was some different breed, stop trying to be a smart 🍑 all the time bobby 😂
@@Chainchop789nope! they're just grapes bred in a certain way. they're actually not even all that sweet..unless you pour sugar all over them like him 😅
@@user-fy9xl9eu8c Idk the one i used to munch on at whole foods were the sweetest of all the grapes. I worked in the produce department and got to try nearly everything. At least the ones I've had are way too sweet
@@Chainchop789 really? that's super interesting then. there are some batches I've had that are a little on the sweeter side but overall most of the ones I get aren't terribly sweet. maybe it depends where they're coming from
Eats one grape, 25% of the bowl gone, eats 2, 1/2 the bowls gone. The 3 clip there were barely any left and he had the audacity to say those are a problem😂😂😂
What I love about this video is that your freezer looks NORMAL! You don’t have an ‘influencer’ fridge / freezer filled with plastic containers with different types of ice etc. I love how normal you are.
@@plunksongIn one of his videos he said he wanted kids. It's not a big deal for someone to say this anyway. Yeah, not everyone wants kids but it's just a comment
Ive been eating frozen green grapes for years as a summer snack/refreshment, its delicious. Cotton candy make it even better. Im gonna try the added juice and sugar, but I dont think its essential, we'll see! As always, thx for the tip Jordan!
For those who are diabetic, replace the sugar with a box of sugar free lemon or lime jello. You don't need Cotton Candy Grapes, regular seedless green grapes will work.
If you are diabetic you should not be using those zero-calorie sugars because the artificial chemicals in those sugars make it hard for your body to digest anything, they block digestion and that is a problem. It's why a lot of people who are diabetic and they drink diet colas they end up in a worse condition,...fake sugar is not good for you you just actually have to watch your sugar intake.
I don't know if u know the tip about lemons but u don't actually need to cut it in half. Just roll it thoroughly on ur counter with a bit of pressure n then when ur done, u put a small hole in the pointy tip of the lemon (either with a chopstick or a needle) and u can precisely squirt out juice without any spillage.
I made these in culinary class! Only difference was that we only used lemon juice and used jello powder instead for more flavor. My team used a berry mix so it wasn’t my fav but there are so many other jello flavors you can use
Just regular jello mix? I don't know why but I imagined it would taste sour without all the water to dilute the concentrated flavors to make the jello lol. I might try this with sugar free jello, cuz grapes are already sweet enough lol. Do you reccomend a certain flavor to compliment the grapes?
