What do you do for a living?
- I am a commercial timelapse photographer. This means people or brands hire me to produce timelapse or hyperlapse footage. Some of my clients include Canon, Samsung, Microsoft, Ford, Tourism Australia, Dubai, Vanuatu Philippines, etc.
- I live in Sydney, Australia. I moved here from Antwerp, Belgium in 2013 in the pursuit of love and adventure! Ja, ik spreek nederlands.

Matt once your hand heals - have you considered adopting the "work 79 to 80 days, then fully take-off 10 to 11 days" method? In those 10-11 days you would ideally not do any work at all and fully stay off social media and putaway your cameras/phone/laptop and if you go for a getaway/holiday dont vlog it or take photos for instagram or live-stream. Example: Monday 1 October 2018 - Sunday 23 December 2018 (work) then Monday 24 December 2018 - Friday 4 January 2019 (time off) ; Saturay 5 January 2019 - Sunday 17 March 2019 (work) then Monday 18 March 2019 - Friday 29 March 2019 (time off)

So glad to hear you are well and thanks for sharing yours to us! I have anxiety and depression as well but I’m just glad I learned how to manage it daily and I’ve been very vocal about it to my husband and friends. Their prayers and advice helps so much but at the same time, whenever they are not around, I learned to control it. I had very terrible experiences. From being abused molested when I was 7, from witnessing a murder where we use to stay, from witnessing people killing each other, from witnessing someone being hit by a bus right in front of me. From seeing a 1 yr old baby drowning and I was helpless because I couldn’t swim at that time. I can keep going.. I have so much but I learned to look at all of these as something that made me stronger. I haven’t ask for professional help because I am slowly getting better & healing. Edited: that one year old baby was saved by my classmates! Since then i was traumatized and tried to learn how to swim but I kept drowning myself because the accident was always on my head. But I told myself one day, it’s enough.. I will keep learning how to swim!

I am happy to hear that it went so well. My mom had a cancer scare in March, but they where able use robotic surgeon and removed all of it. Medical technology is very good and high these days, so I am sure you will recover fast and fully. All the best Matthew. Looking forward to the recovered timelapse videos. Take it easy and get well for now. - lets hope no lewd jokes about the use of your hand.

Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery. I have to thank you for the Ocean Freedom dive video you posted a while back. My son and I (both with zero dive experience) had an unbelievable day in July based on that video (despite the overcast day and my leaky GoPro). Best wishes on your continued recovery.

From one guy who hand an op on his right hand earlier in the year, t'other. Take it easy mate, give it time to heal and be patient. the process can be slow and can frustrating, but it's a process (like a long Photoshop filter) that will complete. In the mean-time, you certainly look better than the last video, I am glad to hear that you feel better and kudos to you for being off the pain meds. 加油
