A full priced game that had everything available with a smaller playerbase seemed much better at punishing cheaters.

Hours ago I played Sombra. I was invisible, alone, and a Cassidy headshot me from like 30meters. There was nothing behind or near me, he wasn't aiming at anybody else. Great experience!!

Watching these videos, and learning what to look for, it’s astonishing how many cheaters are in this game now.

The reason why he locked onto a team mate might be because many cheats nowadays use AI to detect targets (which makes them fully external from the game and way harder to detect).

Swear this guy was playing cass in my gold comp game the other night. Was absolutely getting rolled, booped him off with lucio like 4 times then started hitting repeated across the map headshots but if you pressed him he just fanned the hammer constantly.

I was playing costume game(endless dungeon) and there was a guy hacking,at first we didn't know anything until one if my friends start spectating me and he asked the guy : what gaming chair r u using , no one got what he meant except the guy who was hakcking, well at the end when he was bored he made one of the bosses impossible to kill then left( and yes we lost all progress) Edit: i checked this guys prof and he had more than 500h in costume game and less than 5h in both comp and QP

dude reminds me of a guy I had in one of my comp games where dude straight up didnt wanna do any damage cause a Mei jokingly walled off a doorway for less than a half second lol. Avoiding dealing damage the exact same way, being way too far back out of sight and pretending to run when pushed XD

I’m obsessed with Overwatch cheaters getting exposed. Years ago at this point I had a friend who got caught by me rage cheating as Ashe in one of my games. We drew the game, my whole friend group of almost 100 people mass reported him, he got banned and then we all blocked him on every social media platform. It’s one of my favorite gaming memories. Edit: seems like all the closeted OW cheaters are mad that we cut off our friend for doing that. Skill issue. Just don’t cheat.

I've been having some trouble with cheaters lately too. I'm between silver and gold and sometimes this player with perfect accuracy appears but he still has poor positioning.

We had a game last night me and my friends I was rolling the dps as hanzo and next round he suddenly went window went from no hits to only headshots right afterwards lol

Bro I have artic 7 headset and it's equalizer is tuned to fps specifically. In ow I can hear people walking across the map. The headset is fucking busted along with the sound carrying. That ain't gonna help you land constant head shots.

The only instance of cheating in Overwatch that I've encountered wasn't even in-game. Someone I just met said she plays Overwatch, too. I asked who she mained and she said Soldier. I wasn't suspicious at all. After all, there are legitimate Soldier mains in the wild. Got around to talking about strategies and teamwork when she said that she has none. She just goes in and kills everyone. I'm no pro player. Matter of fact, I'm only high gold. However, "just running in and killing everyone" is not an effective strategy, especially at the rank this woman claimed to be... Which was Master/GM. I asked how the hell that works for her and she just casually drops that she has a strong aimbot and wallhacks. I have never lost my respect for another gamer so quickly without ever seeing them play before. I have never talked to that person again.

I almost considered re-installing OW2, but seeing all these cheater videos Flats puts out doesn't fill me with any confidence that the game will be fun.

I don’t understand a lot of peoples reactions to cheating, and I wonder if that makes them get away with more. I complain about suspected cheating (sometimes too much, I’ll admit) but I have a friend who would watch this and would assume they’re just really good at aiming, and man it makes me frustrated.

Young kids are getting Visa gift cards from grandparents. I'm sure that's why you're seeing a big increase in cheaters. These kids think they can get GM if they had good aim but mommy and daddy won't give them the credit card. But now they have a shiny card that can actually get those cheats they've wanted. They don't need to spend it on anything else because parents/grandparents already buy them everything they want. They just aren't willing to pay $50+ to someone on discord for cheats.

I know you said this looks like a plat that actually plays the game, but personally from the way he takes 1v1s, I think he might be a Valorant/CS player that just watches a lot of OW, started actually playing, and felt they should be better right off the bat. While the game sense/understanding is decent, the gameplay itself is very un-Overwatch-y.

It really is depressing that he has been allowed to do this long enough to reach a gold weapon on Hanzo. For shame Blizzard. Better anti cheat is needed. I've been seeing more legit players falsely banned recently off of their main accounts they have had for years and more cheaters are getting to roam free.

I logged in the other day. The game informed me that 2 people I reported got punished for hacking. Overwatch needs valorant’s system to end the game and ban immediately.

I feel like this guy turned up his sensitivity just so he can turn his camera faster and only needs to rely on his aimbot to hit shots, which is why his movements seem so wonky. Cause he's not used to how high the sensitivity is.

I think plat is a little too high, high gold maybe but as a plat person I would never do these things
