Today I'm going to attempt to solve Mailcall by Maarten Haspeslagh. This is a rather difficult Sequential discovery puzzle with LOTS of pieces. The goal: remove the tape, find the number and put it all back together again!

I've watched a LOT of your puzzles - dozens and dozens - but this one is by far my favorite. The engineering that went into this is out there. No flashing lights, no interfaces, just crazy complicated mechanics. The guy who designed this doesn't think like the rest of us.

@Rotary_Phone 29 дней назад
It was clever in it's own way, but the thing I didn't like about it was all the little things falling out of it all at one time after he removed a piece of the "tape". That's way too distracting, and hard to keep up with.

Use a small pin to open the final compartment to put back those tweezers. The packing slip told you to not insert anything into that hole but that is just a fast way to 'solve' the puzzle. P.s. Nice puzzle solve, love 3d printed puzzles that love to have more solved in the future.

Great vid man. I'm new to your channel and just want to say you are the reason why I've got into these box puzzles. Up until now I was creating escape rooms within Dreams on the Playstation 5, A Puzzle In Time and others. It was quite funny, when you mentioned that you read the comments, some people tell you to give it a _hammering treatment,_ so you followed up saying that it wouldn't be a good solution... and it was at that very same point, that I remembered an older vid of yours, where a sequential discovery, pyramid-shaped puzzle, gave you such a headache, that you outright demolished by drilling into it, or was it a saw that you used? To get the "treasure", a diamond-shaped glass. Glad to see how much your zen abilites have changed! 😂

29:45 When tweezers are outside the box, it's not solved. I think it would have been funny to have the puzzle defined as "I forgot to put the tweezers in the box. Please re-open and reseal the box with the tweezers in the box." Since there's only one compartment big enough for the tweezers, that would require opening and putting it all together again.
