There are Government hospitals that u can visit and u just have to pay ₹5 for the registration and all other services in free. But u don't see a good infrastructure and facilities. But still u will get a very good treatment because most of the doctors are very well experienced and we'll known. They can asses your condition without the help of machines.(experience.) And the other thing. U may have to spend a lot of time to done all the things, because, lot of patients visit or prefer to go to the government hospitals.

Come to India 😊 The Reason Behind Treatment is cheap in India is There are plenty of doctors here . And the reason for plenty of doctors is that Every Typical indian Parent wants that Their kid would become Doctor or engineer or Scientist . These are the only three career Options indian parents choose for their kid 😊

One most important thing to note - In Europe or in America or anywhere in the Temperate Zones, climatic variations within the region, never fall on either side of room temperature (at 0 mean sea level) at the same time.. That is to say, sample any day in January.. It would be cold in entire Europe or America, etc. Never will it be such that it's largely less than room temperature in UK and at similar times be largely more than room temperature in Germany. So even if you were to be traveling from UK to Germany, you will never dramatically face large climatic variations. However in India, this notion goes for a real toss.. It maybe 1℃ in New Delhi and at the same time be 34℃ in Chennai or Goa.. This climatic variation within short distances, occur such that both of them fall on either side of room temperature.. The body cannot tolerate/adjust to so much climatic variation in so short amount of time.. Hence, one is most likely to catch a cold, due to constant climatic readjustments, basis room temperature.. Hence it is always most advisable to visit India in Last week Feb-March or Sept-Nov..

Unfortunately so true. Day before y'day was warm, down to minimum speed on the fan. Last night, I shivered; it's now 17C and winter is clearly just around the corner (down south, 17 is cold, and it gets down to a horrible 12 and stuff).

I'm from tamilnadu(the state this vlogger was visiting ), For headaches , nausea pills for 1-2 days will cost you 1-2$ over the counter (no prescription from the doctor needed ) For iv 5-10$ one time . I'm giving an average cost in a private medical hospital , in a government hospital you'll get free .

Yes, that's the unintended / unanticipated consequence of medical insurance. It raises costs in the entire US ecosystem. If medical costs are inexpensive (as Aly described), then who needs insurance - which is the case in India. Medical Insurance is the biggest organised and legal loot, based on fear syndrome. Just like a Casino, the house always wins.

I know it sucks to be sick while traveling. I went to northern Ghana for a month and wound up in the hospital with an infected mosquito bite on my leg. While the hospital staff were lovely people, I'm lucky I didn't lose a limb. I should have known when I saw the chickens in the waiting area that perhaps I should take a taxi to the capital city, but it was too far away and I was in extreme pain. I got my blood drawn -- but then the nurse got my blood all over the floor. I got an injection of pain killers of some kind and they got what I think were air bubbles in my system. I literally thought I was going to die. The bathrooms were gross. Think of the worst latrine you've ever been forced to use in a busy market. Now multiply that times 50. Once I got well enough to get to the hospital in the capital city, I saw there was an extreme difference in the level of care. The capital hospital rivaled even the best hospitals in the US. So I stayed there for a few days just to make sure my leg wounds were taken care of properly. But I hope you are feeling better and can continue to enjoy your India travels. Visiting the hospital is all part of the traveler's experience.

When I returned to Chennai from us (Illinois Chicago) for vacation, I was alright for a week, then I had severe wheezing(I already had history of wheezing episodes), I was totally bedridden for a week, it was probably due to change in climate and after a week in meds, I was alright. Also Chennai is good for medical treatment, Many people from outside countries come here to get treated( especially those who have complications with getting insurance in the west).

In some hospitals in India, they do use those stickers for ECG.It's like fifty fifty per cent usage of suction versus the sticky type.

Niddles are disposable non-reusable ones. Other body-touching ECG parts are sterilized twice. So don't worry about hygiene.

It's probably too late, but for the future ibuprofen shouldn't be taken for an injured rib as it actually hinders healing. This happened to my boyfriend and the doctor specifically said never take ibuprofen directly after an injury.

Healthcare abroad is a scary thing. I broke 4 ribs at a heavy metal festival in Germany in 2016. They didn't take down my insurance details or EHIC card details and only took a photocopy my passport and hence a month later I had a €2,000 bill. Luckily it all got sorted out thanks to my insurance providers (Sainsbury's of all people!) and the EHIC. Take out insurance people. It's not worth the risk.

In india healthcare cost you very less… india strictly follow socialist policies in some sectors and medical is the priority… we hd costliest healthcare in world in 1950s even we are poor country but govt+cipla( medicine company) worked to change laws nd now we are among cheapest one without insurance…

We provide medical tourism where you know cost of medical treatment before hand and if sometimes it exceed then hospitals will pay additional bills not customers because then customer can file case on hospitals 😆 our medical sector is not for profit making people
